Khan was taking a lot of punishment, and just covering up and not throwing anything back

I was worried Cortez was going to stop it - do you think it would have been unfair if he had?

if a UK ref saw a fighter wobbled like that, no matter what they would have stopped it.

UK refs are BULL**** when it comes to premature ejac erm i mean premature stoppages. They always ruin it

thank god cortez didnt stop this one,

Yeah - it was close. He was badly hurt and just taking shots. I guess though, he kept defending himself and had built up such a solid lead that Cortex felt he deserved the chance to keep going.

It would have been a harsh stoppage IMO. But he kept it together.

    Its a yes/no question.

Khan got hit by a hard shot and you saw the obvious effects of the punch, Khan was rocked and looked like he was going to go down, I think if it happened earlier in the fight Maidana would of had the energy to carry on and would of stopped him.

I think if Maidana carried on putting the pressure and hit a few more heavy hits on Khans jaw he would of stepped in, at one point i did think **** he is going to step in its all over. (i even phoned my mate who could not watch the fight and said its over, and made myself look a dick)

    Good effort from both boxers!:good

Yeah, as above. For me, one more of those right hands and I would of stepped in

sounds like im being bitchy here, but noway was cortez going to stop it,if it was maidana who was wobbled like that he would of,but he was letting khan get away with stuff last night, lke a blatant headbutt in the midrounds, and elbows going in all night as well.

maidana was no angel, but he was'nt getting away with it :deal

It would have been extremely unfair. He was still moving and trying to control the range. If he had stayed on the ropes and taken 7, 8, 9 punches consecutively then maybe, but although he was getting caught, it was never more than 1, 2, 3 at a time and he was still moving around looking to avoid punches. He was even slipping right hands and he had his guard up the entire time.
