What are you talking about? His point's absolutely sound. Forrest was just kryptonite to Mosley. No one else has really stung Mosley. Manny was stopped a decade ago or something, got hurt by Marquez briefly AFTER putting him on the canvas. Cotto was sloppy and would eat shots he didn't need to, but always early in a fight.

And I don't think any of those three would have let Maidana land like that late, or responded that way. Khan did a great job, but there is still cause for concern.

5'6" Bradley will get picked off at range. Khan will have learned his lessons and not go to war. The kid went out to prove a point after hearing for 18 months how he was ducking Maidana due to his glass jaw.

Bradley will come on strong and score in the inside but his lack of KO power has me seeing Khan UD.

 

I don't agree about learning lessons. Amir struggles to deal with being backed up constantly and when hit and hurt he has to engage. Bradley's smart and Khan's still not a master boxer. Very quick but he falls in with punches still. Bradley will set traps believe me on that.

it was 114-111 twice and ten 113-112 all for khan. so without the points deducation it would have been a Majority decision for khan at 114-112 and 113-113. But he did enough to win clearly no ones debating that.

 

may sound harsh on alexander but that fights a given for khan and id seriously fancy khan over timmy aswell , i think unless you can hurt khan on the regular then hes holds no fears and can imoplement a game plan set out by the best with his seriously rapid hands

 

Yeah just wanted to be how many rounds Maidana won. I never expected him to win any rounds before the fight.

 

hes better than alot of people thought, that was partly due to how khan fought him, but he deserves his praise for this fight :good

 

Think it was 114-111 on two cards. So, I think he got it by a round. The other judge might have had it for Maidana by a round (which is ridiculous).

Khan relies on the jab. Bradley is great at slipping jabs. That fight does not end well for Khan.

 

wonder how much of this is due to the sparring at the wild card. by all accounts its ment to be brutal at times. specially when ur watching manny get tagged and fire straight back, maybe its the mentality around the gym there

 

I think the stupid running around with hands in air is down to that Pacquiao. But Amir always enaged when hurt. Prescott fight hurt with jab, Khan trades. Limond knockdown...up and engaging and falling around ring. Just way he is i think.

Bradley would of beaten Maidana handily IMO lads. Look at way he handle Abregu. That wasn't even a sharp Storm...he sticks to plans....if Amir did he'd of made that night a lot easier.

Thankfully for British boxing he didn't. What happened last night was brilliant for the sport.

 

I dont believe for a second that Khan wanted to simply outbox Maidana, he fought like he did last night out of choice, which is fair enough but it made for nervous viewing
