We now know he has the chin, but does he have the skill to beat bradley/alexander?

I never thought skills were the problem.

He matches up much better with boxers than he does with brawlers. even before maidana fight i had no doubt he has the skills to beat bradley/alexander.

But now that hes shown his chin has improved, im convinced he beats both of them

    114-111 on 2 cards. Khan won 7 rounds (2 x 10-8 rds) to Maidanas 5 (1 x 10-8 rnd)

Bradley might be a good boxer but he's a midget compared to Khan. I don't think Tim will hurt Khan as much as you think. He is not a concussive puncher.
What is Bradleys best scalp btw? I've never been a big fan of his and think he is overrated considering his resume.

    i disagree

When khan was boxing Maidana, he looked tremendous. Maidana looked like a novice. When Khan started fighting off the ropes like an idiot he was getting caught. He did that on purpose.

In his last few fights he clearly showed he has the patience to carry out a game plan. Thats not an issue. AGainst Maidana he was drawn into a brawl the second half of the fight. He didnt need to fight that way but for some reason he wanted to. And once your in a war its very hard to get out.

Bradley/ALexander dont have that style. It will be much easier for khan to stick to a game plan against those two. And he has the skills to do it.

    Khan beats both of them

I think Maidana was the hardest fight for Khan at 140, now that is to one side, in a boxing match i dont see Alexander or Bradley outboxing Khan.

Last night gameplan went out the window because i feel Khan wanted to make a point, i can take a punch or 2.

Vs Bradley or Alexander Khan would do a Kotelnik or Paulie and fight to a plan and out box them.

First time he fought someone who was aggressive mate and he shown all the old flaws and that's what i think upset Roach. I could see Freddy's face in press conference like ''all that work...and he's still doing same ****....:-(''.

You right he shipped way to much punishment and that type of fight aligned with all the domestic wars he had will come back to haunt him IMO.

Problem with Khan is he can't do the inbetween. It's either go at it or run for the hills. And When he does try to counter and box and move as soon as the person keep pressing the issue he just unravels. He still putting the gloves over head and closing eyes with head down. He has next to no inside game.

...So many flaws i'd be going on like a hater if i listed them all. For me when your losing rounds to a guy like Maidana it shows your performance wasn't what it should of been. But in saying all of that he makes up for it with heart, his improvement of his chin and conditioning.

I think Maidana is better than your giving him credit for. He is as relentless as they come and is handspeed and accuracy is not that bad at all.

What did you think of the Kotelnik-Maidana fight btw? What did you think of Maidanas performance in that fight against a defensively sound well schooled fighter?

I don't think i said Timmy would hurt him but his accuracy and skill is what wins him fight. He might be small but he's boxed taller guys and bigger men and never had a issue because he's so sharp.

He's resume is better then Khan's at the moment that's for sure. All solid wins.

His best scalp well...Witter/Holt. Peterson is a good win as well...he broke Lamont as a fighter mentally. Only have to see how much confidence Lamont had lost in himself last night and Ortiz went some way to restoring that in him.

When Timmy beats Alexander next month he will add another champion to the list. He's not fighting spectacular names but very solid competition and doing it with relative ease.

The other thing he showed last night was his chin. A hard fight for anyone imo.

He did well but didn't win..... He has a will and a way but really and truly he's not a fantastic fighter. He had issues with Cayo, Ortiz had him going, Corley who been getting beat by anyone and everyone even had a good time against him. He not a great fighter and i said this before hand. He's a marauding type of fighter but i think if Amir stuck to a plan he'd of broken him down.

One thing you cannot do is give a puncher success. Something to believe in. You have to make him miss and pay constantly and by midway point he could of started to sit on shots more and more and by 10th onwards could of stopped him.

I'm harsh on Khan because he's had a lot of money pumped into his development as well fact people talk about him on a level where he has to be looked at alongside his peers.

For me Bradley would of negated any issues Maidana brought to table and won handily.

    Bradley 5'6

Khan ant letting no 5'6 guy outbox him, just because with Maidana Khan came off the gameplan, vs Bradley or Alexander it will be sweet science all the way, Roach will make sure of that after last night.

Khan isn't a master boxer, he can still be troubled in a boxing match. He's no way near the finished article. If anything Maidana showed last night that you can actually get near to Khan without too many problems and he's still taggable if you are accurate and not predictable. And Mr Maidana is not exactly fleet of foot in there.

Timothy Bradley with his footwork, will be on Khan's ass like flies round ****. Khan has to deal with him on the inside. He doesn't have to beat him on the inside but he has to handle himself there better than he did last night until he can get some distance. He's not going to box and move all night like he did against flat footed Kotelnik against Bradley without any troubles, that is for certain.

Khan would beat Alexander, not too sure about Bradley though.

Bradley wouldn't plan to out box Khan. He'd show him it all, every facet of Bradley would come into play. Bradley would slip inside Khan's range and old man him on the inside. Work him over. Then he'd make Khan run some more...stalk him with good footwork wait for Khan to panic with a raid he's slip that to..then raid again. He'd then change flow...let Khan force the issue and land accurate counters then raid again. Khan wouldn't be able the deal with the change of rhythm's.
