Incredibly interesting fight. At the present moment, I think Canelo would take it simply due to being more used to that weight. A few warm up fights for Khan at that level and the result may be different.

Not exactly on topic but who was the Black guy sitting with Haye, Oscar & Alveres @ the Kahn fight? He was very animated lol

Interesting matchup. Khan's speed would surely pose a challenge that Canelo has yet faced. I doubt however that Amir could stand up to the power of the naturally bigger and stronger Alvarez. At this stage I'd side with the bigger man.

Interesting considering he's supposed to be with Top Rank but recently has had some promotional disputes with them.

thanks Beenie, I watched the Khan / Maidana fight second time round with one eye on the Hayemaker/Oscar/Khan's dad.. interesting to see their reaction during the fight.
Henry seemed to be pulling for Amir, regularly out of his seat throwing punches and bobbing and weaving lol

Indeed, Henry was wildly cheering for Khan. (as if they were friends and perhaps even stable mates :think)

Got to go with Khan. He's more proven and has beaten better fighters. Not saying Alvarez is bad, but he's still 20 years old and needs more time to become better.

This the guy is huge and he is lean too. I will not be surprised that he will be a middle weight when he starts fighting championship fights.

Alvarez might hurt Khan, but I don't think he would finish him. Khan has shown not just a better chin but improving survival skills. I think he could make Alvarez look really basic and simple. Speed kills.
