We now know he has the chin, but does he have the skill to beat bradley/alexander?

:deal Simple as lads. I mean Did Maidana even jab his way in or feint or move head erm...no he just walked towards Khan and he would back up with hands over head.

The only thing you can say is ''oh well that's cos he's a puncher Bradley ain't!''. Well i seen Khan do it against Kotelnik and Malignaggi as well...

Holt and Witter? Its not great is it?
We'll see how he does against Alexander. I expect DA to show him a fast jab in the early rounds and we'll see how Tim copes with it. I just think the physical disadvantage is going to be too much for Bradley (against Khan, I expect him to beat DA UD).

Better then Khan's IMO. Sorry but his resume is solid as they come for a champion. Witter Awkward banger, Holt as sharp puncher with nice jab. Campbell he beat up until he quit and got out with a NC. Timmy's faced different styles and type's of mentality. Young fighters and vets and solid champions. His resume at this point is better. Not by a great deal but better.

Alexander yaps as he jabs...that's the downfall against Razor Sharp Timmy!

Malignaggi and Kotelnik weren't great either, especially for a fighter with Khan's style. This is his first scalp thats actually been really impressive, on a similar level to Bradley beating Witter in his backyard as a big underdog.

There is not much difference in their records.

Boy bring on the winner of Bradley-Alexander, as i said Maidana for Khan was the hardest fight at 140.

I dont see a 5'6 light hitter like Bradley troubling Khan, Bradley wants to get inside has to first get past Khan long jab. Khan wont be moving like the Maidana fight, he will stand in the middle of the ring and box this small guy, and due to him not moving to much he can land his great jab and sit on more of his punches to get Bradley's respect.

I'm not arguing Khans resume is any better mate. More the case how Bradley was elevated to being the the best in this division without taking any major scalps.

And they need to do something with Devons grunts. He's like Monica Seles in there:lol:

He definitely is not a great fighter, agreed. But his stamina, heart and power make him a very good fighter and a handful for anyone (even Bradley!!!).

It'd be interesting to see Maidana against the loser of Bradley-Alexander. Schafer has said they will try to make that yet.

Holt has plenty of success with the jab against Bradley when he used it. Khans jab is far faster and has more snap IMO. Bradley would not be able to simply slip inside it IMO, it'd give him plenty of problems.

Lets hope all these questions are answered next year anyway!!

Bradley is even capable of not having to get past Khan's jab. He's capable of taking it away also. He has shown before he can employ a strategy that Khan has never seen before by keeping one step ahead on the outside of a jab and circling. Its possible he could force Khan to fall short and frustrate him, have him off balance and overextending and punish those mistakes. As Andre Ward did against Kessler. There are ways to deal with a jab, Khan's jab is not as dominant as Wladimir Klitschko as is made out. Even Maidana looped a few over the top and he's not at all subtle or well versed in these things. He wasn't even thinking about dealing with the jab, he was thinking about walking through it.

It's difficult to predict how Bradley would even approach the fight tactically and that chameleon like quality he has is what makes him very dangerous.

Think Holt had major success with jab because Timmy stupidly got dropped early. He then got off the plan. He's always working on slipping the jab and i don't see Khan's jab as this major asset. It's decent i give him that. But Bradley's evolved a lot since then.

That's if as TFFP just said he can make him fall in. Let's face it just because he's small doesn't mean he be eating jabs. Khan would have to punch down at him and Khan falls in and gets over eager.

Yes he Khan. The Sky is the limit now.

He has made immense improvements, but must fight smarter and not let his macho side get the better of him, after such a great win, and undo the level he is now at.

He clearly carries the speed and precision to out point anyone, although lacks the power to stop elite level fighters, and he must work on utilising more body shots.

We can breakdown the fight and debate tactics on here but it boils down to Freddie Roach against Joel Diaz. I know who I would have my money on.

It's possible. He's getting a lot of kudos, and rightly so, but most of the credit should be going towards his new found chin and also his heart because he slipped back into some bad tendencies defensively and tactically he was not on point.

What you have to remember is he only just won this fight against Maidana in a fight he was never knocked down in against a guy he had all technical and physical advantages against. So if people think he's nearly impossible to outpoint or outbox, thats a bit silly.
