    Seems like this guy love or hate him is as popular as any fighter so early in his career ever in the sport. Especially right now it is pretty amazing the momentum he has gained.

    shouldn't this be Alvarez is the next De La Hoya? This guy is what 19? he's mexican, white, young, and has mad skills. saul alvarez will be the bigger draw imo.

    De La Hoya would've stopped Marcos Maidana within a few rounds. He would have stopped Khan in that time frame also. So, no...he's not even close to DLH.

    Yup, Oscar would have disposed of Maidana in the early rounds with a devastating left hook. No doubt in my mind. And people would have talked about Maidana as a bum.
