Khan's Performance Last Night

No but you might be lol. I'm just saying that Pacquiao tries to look like Duran and they do look comparable in some pictures so.....

 

Any questions about his suspect chin should be answered. He hung in there against a fighter who had a 90% KO record and never touched the canvas, even when weak in the knees. It was a good performance on both fighters part. It was a good test for Khan that he did pass, but he needs more work before calling out some one like Mayweather.

 

How old is DUran in that black and white photo?:huh

 

I couldn't get an age but I think he was in his 20's.

 

i think kahn did good, ill give credit to maidana for kahn brawling instead of boxing.but hell everyone else has said bit and pieces of what i was going to say, so ill just say what i been saying for the last 3 weeks in fights we had.SKILLZ PAYZ THE BILLZ !!

 

I havent watched the whole fight back to back yet, but from segments and what I have heart, it still seems like Khan has a way to go.

The bottom line is; he didnt win convincingly. He just survived and it could have easily gone the other way. I think him trying to prove his chin was very unnecessary. To me, I dont think he planned for that round to go like that anyway. He got caught, then went all bambi legged for the round. He did well to stay up but he was very very lucky and looked punch drunk at times.

I know its hard to say but Im still unconvinced by Khan. I want to be amazed and comforted by his performance but I'm left still slightly questioning key elements of Khans boxing. Yes, he managed to win against a big slugger Maidana, but there was always this 'thin ice' vunarable feeling watching him in the later rounds.

Its going to be interesting to see who he fights next. Will he do better against more technical defensive types? Or Brawlers? I think next few fights he will be exposed again sadly. Hes a good fighter but I dont see any atg in him.
