Is there a replay of the slip that happened in the ninth round about? Neither HBO nor Sky showed it. It looked like a slip but it'll be interesting to see whether the Khan uppercut landed.

Has Lazarus died from a heart attack after some of those rounds?

After watching it again, Khan was lucky to survive the last few rounds..tough tough fight..Khan didn't show anything special in terms of skill and defence..but his heart/courage and toughness was tremendous.

If you haven't already, watch the HBO coverage. The commentary puts a very different spin on the fight

Just seen the compuBox Stats, not sure how accurate theyare, Khan was pretty accurate throughout and Maidana not so. As expected really.

    Total Punches Jabs Power Punches
    Khan 273 / 603 83 / 243 190 / 360
    45% 34% 53%
    Maidana 156 / 767 34 / 271 122 / 496
    20% 13% 25%

Tbh not shocked by those stats. Maidana's accuracy was appalling at times. I even ducked one of those right hands he made it that obvious he was going to throw it. Plus he's not one for evading punches....

I would also like to know this. I was gonna ask what the HBO commentary was like as I only had the Sky one. Got the Ortiz/Peterson HBO feed and it had Roy Jones commentating so I was like "Damn, I missed Roy Jones for Jim Watt" :patsch

Would be interesting to know what they made of it

    Agreed. RJJ knows his stuff.

They had Ortiz up by 4 going into last two rounds i think Sky said but i really wanted to know what they were saying about Khan's fight. See how they got caught up in fight.

Would be good to know what they said. For what its worth, I thought both Adam Smith AND Jim Watt where good last night. And I normally HATE Jim Watt's commentary!!

Going by Merchant's questions, they felt Maidana had pulled out a victory.

Yeah i found it bearable last night, Smith hyped up the situation's well. I do find him interviewing Haye nasty....he's so camp...it's off putting listening to Haye talk when i see the guy interviewing him is having a gay time mentally.

But yeah decent commentary all round last night.
