Khan didn't have a choice but to fight Maidana even though Khan was running. Maidana just wouldn't let Khan breath even when Khan was running like a scared fighter.

Lol...it has nothing to do with being American or not, not being American doesn't seem to be a problem for Manny P. I don't hate Khan, I just believe that he looked more and more average as the fight went on last night, many want to rave about his chin and how improved it is, but I saw the guy out on his feet and easily could have been finished, to his credit he survived but it's just a matter of time before he's hit like that and someone has enough gas in the tank to finish him. That's just my opinion though, and it means no more than anyone elses.

Khan is a good fighter he is just simly overhyped considering how much better some of the sports elite were at his age...i dont love him and i dont hate him...to me he is still a work in progress, i also believe maidana could benefit from a new trainer.

 

Really? You think Alexander can take shots from Urango but not from Khan? Maidana was never hurt at any point in that fight aside from the body shot in the first (which was ****ing vicious, and I can't believe he got up from it). Maidana had no visable swelling, he did have the cut that was never opened up, so how would you think Bradley or Alexander wouldn't take the shots? Khan has fast hands and that leads to a little bit of pop, but I didn't see anything from his "power" that was impressive and/or made me think Bradley/Alexander wouldn't stand up to him.

 

I agree also, I came into the fight impressed with Khan and thought he had nice power, but as the fight went on, I felt disappointed.
If Khan kept fighting like how he started the fight and got a nice tko or shut out, then I would congratulate him, but he just disappointed me with the mistakes he was making. He did a good job though staying on his feet so that's a plus

 

Devon got out boxed by Kotelnik so he has major weaknesses. Bradley is a tough fight.

 

In the last 3 rounds Dirrell didn't run like Khan did.

 

Maybe because Dirrell didn't get Caught and hurt? Maybe because he actually had Froch Hurt?

Khan did more fighting over the course of the fight than Dirrell ever did against Froch and AA combined.

When a fighter is hurt, you criticize them as scared ? So In the future I expect you to always call a fighter scared when they get hurt and then proceed to avoid their opponent until they recover.
