as a fan of both fighters...at 140, Cotto would destroy Amir... having saying that, the Cotto of 140lbs would destroy all of those at 140 now including maidana, bradley, devon and kotelnik...Kotelnik would have been hospitalised by the 140lbs Cotto
I usually pick decisions when 2 elite fighters go at it, but I think Cotto by TKO. Khan didn't have the right hand Maidana had that could of dropped Cotto, but Cotto was a puncher that could box when he had to and with power behind those shots. Moreso than Khan.
Cotto is sharper than Maidana and better. He would have stopped Khan last night, but I was impressed with Khan against Maidana. He can only get better now.
Right now?... it's Cotto by decision... maybe late stoppage... but that's a big maybe with Ariza in Khans corner. In two years time Khan's going to surpass him both in resume and H2H I think though.
