By the way, this is not a diss thread. Props to Khan for beating that Maidana. Maidana came there to **** somebody up. When he got up from that big shot to the liver, I could tell he packed a lunch.

Khan took some big punches, and think he earned the right to not be questioned about his toughness. Now don't get me wrong, he's only human, but that was a TOUGH performance even if he didn't throw his hands much the last 2 rounds.

Ortiz quit from less than that.

Khan won't touch Mayweather within the next couple years.

He needs to improve a ton more, and I do think he has the tools and potential to do so. Just not any time soon. Mayweather may even be out of the game by then. Oh wait, he currently is :-D ZZZZZINGGGGG

Khan would not be able to get his speed flurries off on Mayweather without seriously getting countered with a concussive counter......

Mayweather is too elusive, and if Khan pressed to find him......counter shot, staight right or check hook.......fight over.:dead

Floyd Sr vs. Khan Sr. is the real battle. Floyd jr. waxes Khan in every inch of the ring in every second of the fight. Different class. Khan would not last more thn 6 rds. with Floyd

Let Mayweather concentrate on Pacman not Khan.

Khan showed that a guy who can walk through his speed and moderate power in the first half will hammer him in the second half. I kept thinking Hatton-Callazo when I watched this fight. He looked out on his feet in round 10, but he had the belt so he got benefit of the doubt.

Mayweather in a completely different class. As some point Khan would get in real trouble and Mayweather would KO him.

Mayweather does not have the work rate nor the power to completely nullify Khan.

People still see mayweather's skill at 130 level but the fact is he is less mobile, less offensive minded, and definitely slower he tends to pick his shots now which is a pattern you see for fighters who loss their athleticism. Fighting only once every 14 months does not do wonders to your athletic capabilities because it really corrodes.

However, he has become wiser as a fighter. He used to move his feet a lot more 5 years ago but now he stands his ground and instead just moves his body and head. He throws punches that are there to connect instead of throwing more volume.

That stated, I think khan would do good against gayweather because gay would not be looking for a ko like maidana and I am sure that khan won't overcommit as well.

It would probably be a ud for gayweather but khan would have his moments.

No one is going to ko anybody in this fight.
