Tony F ucking Bellew!

What a melodramatic and bizarre thread. Most of the criticism has been observational, people have watched the fight and aired their thoughts. What do you want a load of yes men saying it was a sterling performance?

As long as people keep it to boxing and keep the irrational hate away and nobody tries to make a name for themselves its all good and constructive.

 

I havn't seen anything out of order to be honest. There is a good thread on Tony Bellew and this performance, and most of the critique of this performance is born out of our concern for him because he is a good guy that takes time out to post here. We want to see him do well, which is why we're worried about how he performs and its getting a lot of discussion.

 

Theres more kiss arse's than slaters.That sounds a normal balance to me, bellew dont mind it seems either, sees it for what it is. Bellews good but wants it all now imo At least people are talking about him

He done what needed to be done. not the best but everyone has room for improvment!

This pretty much sums up the attitude of all the serious posters on ESB. I don't think there's been too much hate for him, if anything people go the other way and suck up a little.

Good lad, exciting boxer to watch and will never be in a dull fight. Wish him all the best as I do most british fighters

 

If anything Bellew gets an easy ride on the forum. His last 2 performances have been poor for the standard he has set himself and the level he has proclaimed to be at. You can't call out Cleverly and talk about your punch power like your a new Haye when your strugling to beat domestic gate keepers like Ajisafe and McEnzie.

Plus it was the worst stoppage I have seen for a long time.

 

When a boxer wants a blow job he goes on boxrec. When a boxer wants to knw what us fans actually think they can nome on here.

Bellew will get critism for the Ovil performance...it was not great and I think once again he will admit that but once again he won...and agaist another opponent propects do not like to fight.....I am glad he is fighting these guys and being made to struggle because in the long run if he does turn out to have world class in him it will do more good than harm. Lots of fighters fight opponents that make them look good.....Bellew is doing the opposite, on the Warren bill he could have fought an afrobum or some Euro**** for a international belt but he did not so huge fair play to the lad.

 

More like Tony Bell END. don't like this kids attitude. It stinks. Last 2 fights proved he aint all that at all.

 

When i made that thread i made it so people could post constructive views rather then slagging kid off. Minus a few not so insightful posts or attacks on Arnie without any views then ''he's ****'' i found the thread to be very indepth and some great posts.

I know Tony posts on here and glad he read the thread. Not to sure he will take any of it on board but end of the day he's got many people on here who want to see him do well which should make him and Arnie happy.

 

Wat gets to me about some people on these forums is their inability to take into account other peoples opinion no matter how harsh it is. You make a forum and people have freedom to post their views. Don't ***** if you don't agree with it. Some people like myself wish no bad vibes to any fighters including Tony. I wish him all the best. My point is a personal view in the fact I don't see his attitude in a favorable light. He has very good power, but again last 2 fights showed he lacks skill. Tries to rely on his power shots. Thats my opinion.
