Maidana hits harder than middlweight, he has lots of head movement and slips punches. Don't underestimate Maidana he hits harder than Margarito or Cotto.

Freddie Roach has said that Khan is equal with Pacquiao, Khan just need some more good fights under Roach.

I think the main reason Manny has seemed like he's slowed down is because he isn't as reckless as he used to be and boxes with more intelligence. And Pacman definitely has better footwork as he moves in and out and keeps repostioning himself for a counter; Khan instead runs away. Pacman paces himself much better than Khan who seemed to lose steam as the fight went on. He did abit too much running. I don't understand why he didn't stop Maidana with more bodyshots? He seemed to abandon going to the body after he hurt Maidana.

Before the last week or so I was in two minds, but having watched Khan pad sessions, and the fight last night, I believe his hand speed is noticeably faster than Pacs. It seems to be getting faster with every fight.

In Pacmans defence he is better in pretty much every other department though, and the speed issue is not miles apart. He is aging and increased greatly in weight. I will have to dig out my Pac career set and look at his handspeed when he was 23/24 and compare them then. Probably different story.

Are we really debating this ****? Amir is 24. emmanuel is approaching his mid 30s. It's clear that Amir is faster.

Maidana's tad slow. Pac will toy around him like David Diaz or to some extent Cotto.

Now he is...but Manny at the lower weights was faster. Either way the huge difference between them is that Manny's punches pack power.
