Rewatching / scoring Khan vs Maidana

After rewatching the fight I had it 7-5 for Khan. It could be scored differently depending on how you scored the 3rd round.

Now...Khan floors Maidana in the 1st. 10-8. Round 10 Khan is holding on for dear life...but doesnt go down. Can we give Maidana a 10-8 for the onslaught? Just checking..cos i gave him 10-8 there. I also gave Khan a 10-8 for the point taken off Maidana as he won that round also.

 

Cant believe how many gave Khan the 3rd round...really? Watch it again..and come back and say you still think Khan won that? And I'm a Khan fan!

 

i also gave maidana 10-8 for the 10th. rounds 11 and 12 could have been given to either fighters. if they were given to khan, it's 115-110. 113-112 khan if rounds 11 and 12 were given to maidana.

 

How can you legitimately believe the 12th could have been given to Kahn? Go back and watch it again and rectify this immediately.

 

I had it 114-112 for Khan

 

i def gave the 12th to khan. though maidana was more aggressive, it was khan who was connecting with his punches.

 

rd 11 was khan's. rd 3 was maidana. rd 4 was toss up. i think people read too much into momentum.

round 10 could easily be counted as a 10-8 though... i just feel khan staying on his feet deserved a 10-9

114-113 khan. the point deduction being the diff. shouldnt of been a point deduction anyway.
there should be a rematch for this fight

 

maidana clearly won, khan ran around like a headless chook all night, a scared fighter. Khan was busted up and maidana had no bruises, and maidana finished stronger, scared fighters should lose points:happy
