One of the more moronic posts I've yet to read at ESB, and that speaks volumes.

Maidana found the mark against Khan, but Floyd wouldn't?? :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Please. I am no Mayweather nuthugger, but he beats the **** out Khan every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

The Khan ball-scrubbing has now reached epic levels. This kid isn't and never will be on Floyd's level. These ****ing Brits are so goddamn desperate to have a boxing star better than America's finest.

Khan has so much work to do before he could even think about a fight with floyd, floyd would pick him apart but if hatton could make some close rounds then khan would too, before losing of course. The fight has to be pac v floyd, khan if he is ever ready it wont be for at least 3 years plus imo

You say brits like we all think khan will walk in there and think he would ko mayweather in 2 rounds!

Im british and a boxing fan and i know khan cannot beat mayweather rite now!!!! i dont want to see him even think about that fight till 2012!

Mayweather would win ud at this momment in time but in a year or so khan may and its a big may just get lucky

floyd's too smart and amir is just too young and not as naturally gifted - that's just the truth.

I am obviously generalizing, you twit, but the fact remains that the most obscene Khan nuthuggers are British.

You are correct on one point, however-- luck is the only avenue for victory for Khan against Floyd.

I agree at this point! khan needs to fight Judah then bradley or alexander and then move to 147 and get two or three fights under his belt and go for a title then may be have a think about it!

I want to see khan get a ko! And take some body out in a massive way

You know what? I came on this forum because when i joined, it seemed people actually knew Boxing on here... But **** me has it gone downhill...

Right, Mayweather and Pacquiao are on 354354153415313521 level's above anybody else at this moment in time. Anybody who argue's with that is a complete, 100%, surefire, ****ing ******.

Amir Khan would have the same chance against Mayweather as he would against Pacquiao... 0% chance.

A slow, plodding brawler with a limited skillset was landing clean jab's, power shot's and pretty much anything else he wanted to on Khan, so if somebody like Maidana managed to do that, how the **** would Mayweather not be able to land on him, as some people have said in this topic?

Wether it's because they're Pacquiao fan's, because they don't know nothing about Boxing, or wether they're genuinely stupid i don't know, but some absolute idiots (you know who you's are) think because Floyd is 35 year's old, he's old, slow and nearly past it. Fair enough, he's not as quick as he was at 135, but what little speed he's lost he's gained so much more in experience and ringcraft.

In 2-3 year's time, that's not even a valid point because Mayweather probably won't be fighting at that time, and if he is... Then we'll discuss the fight but not now.

Khan is a good up and coming fighter, he didn't look too clever against Maidana, but he got the W and that's all he cared about. But to mention him in the same paragraph (let alone sentence) as Mayweather of Pacquiao is deluded

    Exactly my point.

Look, I came away from the bout more impressed with Khan than I had previously been. The kid showed some mettle in the ring Saturday night, and notwithstanding the anti-Khan rhetoric of some, he won the goddamn fight.

Conversely, however, let's view the fight for what it was. Maidana, a very hard puncher with a modest skill set, was able to land reasonably frequently on Khan and if he could, accurate punchers with world class skills like Pac and Mayweather would carve him up.

mayweathers strength isnt his athleticism or natural talent its his brains

khan was silver medalist at the olympics at the age of 17 he is amazingly gifted and currently, athletically superior i feel.

Mayweather has been taken it easy and he is handling the Pac situation like a ***** but he did beat ODLH, JMM, Hatton and Mosley (Although the mosley fight came is me too late) all of these guys would've either beat Kahn or given him lots of trouble, as for Williams, Clottey and Berto, none of them beat Mayweather but Berto does have the potential to be special someday.
