    http://www.mmafighting.com/2010/12/...sibilities-for-ultimate-fighter-coaching-job/

Upon returning to his Las Vegas office on Monday morning after a hugely successful UFC 124 event, company president Dana White has several items that will require fairly immediate attention. Among the most pressing is selecting coaches for the upcoming season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter.

The series is scheduled to begin taping in just a few weeks, and White admits he's late in picking the men who will lead two teams in competition and later battle it out themselves.

Though he says the decision is far from made, he shared with MMA Fighting some possibilities for the job.

Among the pairs he named as possibilities were a duo rumored to be up for the job, MMA legend Wanderlei Silva and recently suspended middleweight Chael Sonnen.

On Dec. 2, Sonnen's suspension for using testosterone was reduced from one year to six months, making him eligible to fight in March. The show is scheduled to begin taping in January and the season-ending pay-per-view featuring the coaches is usually sometime in June, giving Sonnen a clear window to participate.

However, coming off the suspension, the UFC might not opt to immediately give him such a high-profile role.

Anther possibility? UFC bantamweights Miguel Torres and Urijah Faber.

    LOL @ Brock coaching.

Anyway i like the idea of Sonnen Wandy. They can use that video of Wandy berating Sonnen like he's step child for their press reel. Plus Sonnen is a ****.

Silva and Sonnen or Brock vs Mir would be awesome. The later might not be such an even fight though.

Somewhat of an irrelevant fight. But its always great to see Mir get his mug bashed in.

WTF is Brock going to teach anyone?

Pretty much everyone on this past season of TUF had more MMA experience and knowledge than he does.

Sky ****ed up on picking this up. The show was doing great in the ratings then they get it and drop it before the end of its run.....terrible.

I love the idea of Faber vs Torres but Torres has a big fight in February vs Antonio Banuelos but Faber vs Cruz/Jorgensen winner IMO should be looked at. I like the idea of Lesnar-Mir III and them coaching TUF would be entertaining but heres the thing we know for a fact from previous experience Mir is a good coach but WTF is Lesnar going to offer his team ? Sonnen vs Wanderlei now thats perfect that had the little conversation where Wanderlei says "you disrespect Brazil you lose your teeth", Wanderlei has a bit of a temper when pushed and Sonnen knows how to push buttons the guy is a total dick, I think both would make for very good coaches and it could determine a new contender for the Middleweight Championship while Anderson sorts it out with Belfort and Yushin Okami.

I don't watch TUF anyway, but Mir VS Lesnar would be a waste or airing time IMO...

good point. watching brock teach anyone anything other than wrestling (strength based one too) and it should look silly.

silva and sonnen are seasoned pro's.

chael best not teach anyone sub defence.

Lol. Faber vs. Torres won't be the coaches, they'll have terrible ratings. This is zuffa, they need already well known stars.

It makes sense that they would use Brock as a coach. They need someone with some personality and a real grudge in the opposite corner so Mir fits that bill nicely.

Brock doesn't have the knowledge to be an MMA coach, so Brock-Mir wouldn't be a credible choice IMO.

Anderson Silva's English is pretty weak, so Silva-Sonnen wouldn't make for great TV.

How about Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping? Or Sonnen and Wanderlei?
