I don't buy people claiming his chin isn't his weakness anymore. Not saying it's bad (he did get caught cold against Prescott) however I don't think the Maidana fight proved anything about his chin, more about his composure. Why? Because I don't see how getting knocked almost stupid and being on rubbery legs for that round and somewhat for the rest of the fight proves you have a good chin. If that happened to Pac or Mayweather or another big fighter, his chin would be questioned, not applauded.
I believe Uncle Rico said in another thread that Khan's chin has gone from a "2" to a "4" out of 10 which is a good way to put it. It's not as bad as we thought it was.
To be fair to Khan Maidana had hit him with big shots before the 10th round and hadn't really wobbled him. He got caught by a right hand over his jab which he didn't see - the kind of shot that hurts anyone. I'd say his chin is a 5 or a 6 - around average.
His chin is still suspect and the chicken calves/legs ain't going to help. But he proved on that fight with Maidana that he is not a glass jawed brit after all, just shaky chin but not all glass Respect to Khan!!
What's funny to me is that if he wasn't wobbled during the fight. People would say his chin still has unanswered questions and wasn't tested.
OH FO ****'S SAKE GIVE THE LAD A BREAK!!!!!!!!! He fought a man that everyone said he wouldn't. Not only that he took EVERYTHING he had to offer and beat him.
Haha, people are acting as if the tenth round was the first time Maidana landed clean on Khan. Before the fight you ask 90% of the posters on here "what happens if Maidana catches Khan clean with a right hand" and they'd tell you he'd be KOd. He got hit with plenty of big shots throughout the fight and was fine. No one seems to mention those though. He gets hurt by a great shot in the tenth, takes a beating for 2 minutes but STILL doesn't go down and now he still hasn't proved anything about his chin? This place is laughable
