I think the thread is about Vargas and not the terrible article.

good thing they call it a dream fight, that's the only place it's gonna happen.

Can't knock Vargas for his opinion. Its gotta be respected. But the guy who wrote that peice was obviously a Floyd fanatic. He said the reason behind the fight falling through was b/c of PAC not agreeing to the test.....then said the reason he didn't commit to the fight after the test situation was out of the way was due to legal problems. I don't mind other folks opinion on who to blame was but leaving out key pieces of information is only showing his biased stance on the topic at hand.

Although I don't like Mayweather Jr. as a person, I also think that he would beat PacMan. Simply put, Mayweather Jr. is a bigger, longer, and faster version of JMM, and no, I am not saying their styles are the exact same thing, but they are both counter punchers. Mayweather Jr. is also just as smart as JMM in the ring.

The question that I would like answered is if Mayweather Jr. can figure out PacMan as fast as JMM did. JMM, IMO, was able to adjust to Pac's speed and style within two rounds (See JMM vs Pac I). Also, would PacMan remain calm and not get flustered with Mayweather Jr.'s movement?

This is a very intriguing match-up, but unfortunately I don't think they will fight this year. By the time they do fight, I think their best days will have passed them by and we won't see them in their actual prime.

Oh, and they should both undergo the Olympic style testing right up until the fight.

With all due, just to say the things you said in bold, is an insult to Floyd
