By breaking up the clinches he was hardly doing Khan a favour....

Thats what I dont understand about the complaints, If anything, as shitty as Khans legged looked in the 10th round, the last thing Khan wanted was to be made to run.

There's no way Maidana's shitty lefts with no swing were gonna do any damage, cos Khan constantly had hold of his right. His best chance of a KO was to have the room to work his wild swings.

Maidana didn't look to keen on a rematch based on his body language

Thats just the way he looks, he's a right miserable **** Maybe its his disdain for all living matter that makes him such a tough S.O.B.

I can just imagine him as an old codger , he'll make Victor Meldrew seem like Happy Larry.

Yeah, I don't get why people thought Khan was the one clinching, he wasn't. In fact, Maidana tried to clinch him in round 10 when he had him hurt because he was exhausted after chasing him around the ring loading up on his shots, and Khan actually pushed him off him and started circling.

I've only seen bits of the fight because I was at the Echo on Saturday.

Hopefully it'll be repeated on regular Sky soon..... depending on who you listen to on here Khan put on a great display, or Cortez was paid off and Khan got a gift.

Hauser has wrote an article on the scene slating Cortez, whereas Roach has said he was considering stopping the fight and dropped a reference praising him.

Having a pop at Cortez is in vogue at the minute - he's probably a bit quick to break guys up but we don't want a hugfest all night long surely.

For the couple of rounds leading up to the 10th Maidana genuinely looked like he didn't even want to come out of his corner. At one point Khan was 3/4 of the way across the ring with Cortez pushing him back, while Maidana was still sat on his stool, before reluctantly getting up. Khan got sloppy and complacent and hit with a desperate looping right hand, a real hail Mary punch.

For me, Khan has himself to blame for switching off and getting caught. In a rematch he needs to ensure that he is 100% concentrated at all times and doesn't stop still in front of Maidana and he should win a much more comfortable fight

So his head rocking all over the place in the tenth was all voluntary?

    Come off it.

Well Khan could have stopped Maidana in the 1st, if there had been another 20 seconds on the clock. Maidana had plenty of time to finish it but couldn't. And a draw?:patsch What on earth were you watching. Maidana won 4 rounds, 5 at an absolute push and one of the rounds he lost was a 10-8.

Very happy to commend Khan's victory for his heart and courage though not his stupidity in this fight. Mark he will not be world champion beyond 2011. If the crude Maidana could find his chin then the better well schooled technical fighter such as Alexander, Bradley and Ajose definitely will. These type of fighters you don't necessarily see where the punches are coming from. A respected training was the fight with me and in his words "Ajose, Bradley and Alexander would **** Khan up."

Who was this trainer? Ajose does a better job of ****ing up his career than other fighters. Fact. Khan has achieved more in less time than Ajose. Fact.
