Can Floyd trade punches with Pac ?

Go back and watch the Mosley and Phillip Ndou (whom was a heavy hitter) fight. Those are just few.

 

If Floyd trades punches with Pacquiao, he'll get knocked out. Pac's chin is stronger than Floyd's, Floyd will break first.

If Floyd trades with Pac, he is opening up his defence to get hit, and he knows that, so it won't happen. Floyd will be doing what he did in the Castillo rematch and running, trying to steal uneventful rounds.

 

Yes he can. PBF is faster than Pac. I would love to see them trade ala MOrales-Barrera. That would be a blur. I think its funny no one thinks Pac can be traded with. Right now in his division yes no one is fast enough to do it but Martinez and PBF would definately be able to. I think Pac actually gets dropped trading with PBF. PBF always has excellent footwork and balance. Pac is usually off balance when he punches. I can see a straight right hand knocking Pac down.

 

Obviously, just saying... Floyd doesn't generally trade punches. Even when he was "trading" with Ndou, Ndou was missing and getting countered.

The only time I've really seen Floyd "trade" a shot for a shot consistently is in the first Castillo fight when he was hurt. Castillo was working the body, and Mayweather would respond with accurate shots to the head.

 

Yeah it was crazy how he stood with, and knocked out, N'Dou, who was 31 W with 30 KOs

 

Floyd gets the spaghetti legs from single shots (Corley, Mosley).

Pac doesn't.

If Floyd opens up his defence in order to trade shots, at one point he'll take a punch he can't recover from. Pac will finish him mercilessly.

 

To answer the question, no Floyd can't trade punches with Pacquiao. It's not his style to trade punches period.

 

It wasn't really that crazy though, if you watch the fight. N'Dou is one of the most incompetent attackers I've ever seen. His punching technique was absolutely ghastly. He was a D-class fighter who feasted on bums, never let a padded record fool you.

JMM hit Pacman with a nice counter and Pacquiao was wobbling. I know you're a huge Pacman homer, but my lord man.... keep it real. Pacquiao has been hurt and wobbled just like everybody else. I would argue more than Mayweather has in his career as well.

 

Floyd has had spaghetti legs twice, maybe three times, in 41 fights. Pac was wobbled by Marquez for christ's sake.

Anyway, no Floyd can't trade punches with Pac. Who can really? Floyd would try to stay in the center of the ring and outbox him like he does every fight. What kind of question is this anyway?

 

Watch it again. Pac is in mid-air when he gets hit, his reaction was purely a balance issue, one nanosecond later he is ready to rumble again.

Compare that to Floyd vs Mosley - clinging on like a dying orphan trying to get his legs and his senses together.

Different scenarios altogether.

 

I've shared the ring with N'Dou, never let Mayweather making a guy look clumsy fool you. N'Dou could crush your ribs with one shot.

 

Again.. Pacquiao has been hurt and wobbled in his career. He was hurt from that shot from JMM and wobbled back to the ropes, but he recovered nicely due to his conditioning and strong legs.

Take your homer glasses off, seriously. What kind of moron makes a stupid comment like "Pacquiao has never been wobbled by a single punch his entire career?" Do you not understand how ****ing ******ed that comment is? Pacquiao, just like EVERY OTHER FIGHTER ON THE PLANET, has had his bell rung by a punch and has been wobbled.

I love Pacquiao, but I swear... some of these fairweather fans make me want to see him lose because it is just getting ridiculous. The guy is HUMAN, he has been hurt before, and he can lose a fight.

 

Pac NEVER has to hold on to buy time after taking a single shot. :deal

I do not believe for a second Floyd would trade with Pac either. This fight has Castillo II style snorefest written all over it... except Pac will be able to catch Floyd whereas JLC couldn't.

 

Except he wouldn't be able to hit my ribs because he throws a punch like a ****** swinging a baseball bat.
