This would be an epic battle in my opinion..

I'm a fan of both Degale and Groves. Degale is abit green but is an excellent talent that moves and boxes extremely well and quite slick.

Groves is equally if not more slick. If I had to bet I would say Groves is also has the faster hands. Stylewise Groves is less of a distance master, relying more so on upper body movement and catlike reflexes...

Anyway if this fight was happening 3 months from now who would you pick?

Right now my money would be on Groves but just barely....

You don't think Groves' speed and straight punching would give Degale a problem?

Degale while talented throws abit wide at times and also can get lazy defensively.

groves has not got the heart or the grit to have a war with any domestic fighter yet alone degale.

This would be a absolute beatdown.

I've never seen Groves in the ring... but I saw DeGale's last two fights. He's the goods.

he looked a long long way from the finished product in his last fight. if he doesnt go back to basics on his defense hes never going to even hit euro level. slick looks mean nothing if your taking punch after punch.

Groves is too open and doesnt have the speed and agility to fully utilize his style of fighting, with a bit of tweaking and refining he could still go on to be a decent force.

A few fights ago I was saying Groves but Degale has impressed me a lot recently, he's much, much better than I thought he was and the opposite has happened with Groves, I dont think he's quite as good as I thought he was.

Degale would stop him late I think.

    No...
I like Groves, but you just have to take a look at both men's latest fights to see what would happen if they met in the ring right now. DeGale would KO Groves before the 6th round, and it would be after a one-sided beating.
Groves needs more time to grow as a fighter - don't mix potential with ability.

I saw Groves vs Anderson.. And that's the reason why I would but my money for DeGale..
