Been reading a lot about zab judah next for kahn, which would be a decent fight which i think amir would win, why not try get juan manuel marquez over to england what a fantastic tear up that would be both coming off 2 great wins in kats and maidina this is one that would be a sell out wherever staged, and for me the fight could go either way maybe give the slight advantage to juan manuel very much still a live dog but who knows it could be a great scalp for kahn to take before he talks about going in with floyd etc

JMM is a Vegas fight, not a keep busy and keep UK fans on side fight. Would be nice but wont happen on these shores.

Great fight for both....JMM wants the Pac fight so could go through Khan if he could get an impressive win to force the issue and Khan needs big names on his record plus it would make money.

I think i'd rather see the judah fight. I could see it being a good scrap with judah forcing it early like he did with cotto. I'd really like to see this fight although judah hasnt looked amazing recently but he always been a bit hot and cold. like to think he'd come out firing against khan. i'd be rooting for khan although am a judah fan

I really wouldnt fancy Khan's chances against Marquez TBH - dangerous fight to take and ruin what he is building to fight Bradley or Alexander

  7. i think khan wil jab him silly for 12 rounds

Fight id love too see but dont think it will happen. After the miadana fight i think they will take the easier option in judah not that theres anything wrong wit that after that last fight.

if maidana at times could land at will on khan marquez, with his speed and precision, would take him out imo

Khan should slow down a bit. I think they're rushing him...you don't wonna be done before you've reached your physical and mental prime. The way Khan is going now, he's on his way to being another Fernando Vargas.

I think Marquez would counter him like crazy. That's not a good fight for a young fighter who's doing a poor imitation of Manny Pacquiao.

I think Khan is all wrong for JMM. His game isn't suited to being the all out aggressor in fights, Khans very quick on his feet and I don't reckon he's easy to counter, also height and reach difference would be massive for him to overcome and at his age I don't know if he has the stamina to fight Khans fight.

The likes of Diaz and Katsidis are perfect for him, Khan isn't.

How about JMM v Maidana :hey

You think? I know Kotelnik is not in JMMs league but hes still a very good counter-puncher, I'll need to watch Khan-Kotelnik again but I hardly remember a counter of note.

Amir makes a lot of technical mistakes. He's easy to hit if you punch with him and goes off balance when he throws combinations. Marquez would draw him in and counter him with straight rights and left uppercuts.

Amir has fast feet, but he still doesn't know how to use them properly. Watch how he wastes so much energy in big circles and traps himself on the ropes voluntarily. He relies on his feet far to much and has absolutely no upper body or head movement, that's a bad look against a supreme counter puncher like Marquez. Amir is to disjointed right now, his frailties can be fixed, but i wouldn't put him in there with Marquez at the moment. As i say i think he needs to take things slowly and learn his craft.

Kotelnik is a poor example because he's reactive and not proactive, in other words he waits for you to finish and won't punch with you. Volume punchers with fast feet will aways beat him.

I don't know, erase the Maidana fight from your memory and I don't think Amirs movement would seem a massive problem. Khan was very wasteful and naive with his footwork on Saturday but that was with a relentless come forward fighter. JMM wouldn't press him as much, as you say he'd be trying to draw Khan in and its just not his game.

Amirs height, reach and speed would just cause to many problems for JMM to overcome IMO, can't see how it'd be easy for JMM to punch with Khan when hes landing 2-3 shots to JMMs one.

Can't see this one happening though, not sure who JMM can fight next. His options are rather limited at the moment.
