Ortiz’s effort against Maidana, was more credible than Khan’s!

It just shows that a lot of people on ESB - mainly the US fans - know little of Khan before the Prescott fight fight.

if people want to hate somebody they will always find a way. Khan boxed well and boxed his style and the fight was 12 rounds of 3 minutes no more no less and over those 36 minutes of boxing he was the better boxer.

Anybody else is discrediting the officials who called the fight and have been put ringside for a reason - they know boxing.

Haters will always hate and Khan will always be called glassjawed even if he cleans up the division because then the haters will say "nobody has any power at 140 any more, i remember when...."

    And rjko... WOW

Wow. That Bazooka line is almost as bad as the American guy who said in dead seriousness:

"Khans not really British though is he? I mean come on, look at his skin. He's brown! British people are white like Hatton. Stop trying to claim other fighters for yourselves"

there is a tiny bit of thruth...... when you put amir up against ortiz i dont see amir dominating all that much. maidana nearly beat khan. so ortiz with his power, skill and speed definatly has a chance. but i think khan with come through some early tough rounds to dominate with his jab , fitness and reach advantage as the fight progresses.

ortiz would give amir trouble for the firast few rounds. maybe even floor him with hard fast combo. but aslong as amir fights smart i see him coming out on top.

rjko23, I agree Ortiz would cause Khan a few problems. But since the Maidana loss, he isn't quite as vicious as he once was. This may cost him.

It's a shame, because I really want him to regain the spark and put himself back in contention amongst the top 140 pounders. I'd love to see him in a mega-fight with Khan 2/3 years down the line.
