Correct. Still, everyone brings up his name to stress how lenient the Hall is but you're right, it's the Hall of Fame.

Gatti always packed out Atlantic City. His popularity even got him a fight he didn't deserve against de la Hoya. Gatti is getting in the Hall of Fame.

I'll eat my silk boxer shorts if he doesn't.

Of course Gatti is getting in no matter how odd that may sound(well maybe not these days as it seems the HOF gets less strict year by year). Gatti-Ward 1, Robinson-Gatti fights, great action and always a great heart shown by him. Fame-wise it's impossible not to have Gatti in and what fan doesn't like watching Gatti fight?(excluding the Gomez,DLH,Mayweather,Baldomir fights).

Zoo is a ATG at 140 arguably the GOAT there. That's reason alone why he should be there.:deal

at 140 prime for prime i can name you about 10 people off the back of my head that would beat him there....

    CHAVEZ
    FLOYD
    MOSLEY (EVEN THOUGH HE SKIPPED)
    DURAN
    TAYLOR
    OSCAR
    SWEET PEA
    PRYOR
    ARGUELLO
    EVEN COTTO

just cause all those fighters moved up to face greater challenges, if not kostya wouldn't even of been considered a great champ at 140....plus, it was hella weak when he was there....

he is very hittable, but so was kostya...and i doubt he had enough gas in the tank to take cottos body attack and speed at 140....

His resume isn't the greatest but he reigned at 140 with an iron fist for years and that has to count for something. When considering everything you have to rank him no lower than 3rd at worst all time at 140 and that's why he got in.

I was surprised he made it first ballot. Truthfully, I thought Hamed should've gotten in before him on account of more popularity, being an Arab, and accomplishing a similar amount (I won't debate that last point, but I don't see a big difference)...I think Hamed irritated too many of the voters.

Heres my problem. I think he gets in as a boxer, but barely. Now, Stallone gets in for the non-participant group, right? If Tszyu didnt get in as a fighter, how could they justify him not getting in as a non-participant for his popularity and all he has done in boxing (Tszyu cup, etc.) So, if he didnt get in as a fighter, he would surely deserve to get in based on what he does outside the ring but letting him in as a non-participant would be a huge insult. Tszyu, the fighter, deserves to get in and im happy he does, but there are a lot of problems with the HOF....Micky Ward did a lot for boxing and with this movie continues to. Does he get in?
