Klitschko-Haye in the works

    By Alexey “Oscar” Potapov
A clash between IBF/WBO/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KOs) and WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KOs) could be in the works for the spring of 2011. Klitschko was scheduled to defend against Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9 KOs) on December 11th, but had to pull out due to an injury. The team of the Ukrainian champion now has four weeks to make a decision whether or not to reschedule that fight. In the meantime, negotiations for a Klitschko-Haye fight have already begun. If the camps come to an agreement, the fight against Chisora will be off.

I'm actually suprised nobody has already posted this! Anyway I am quite hopefull they'll sort this and it will be on for next spring.

I will believe it when I see Haye step in the ring with Wlad and the first bell has sounded... Not before that.

Haye vs Klitschko is getting the same standard of believeness of Pac-May. I wont believe it until the bell sounds and they throw the first punch.

Given Haye and Booth's way of handling the other *negotiations*, I am also holding my excitement til I see a bit more solid evidence.

Why do people clutter up their websites, and subsequently message boards, by posting garbage like this. People that know boxing know not to pay any attention to this crap until both parties have signed on the dotted line, and even then to be wary until the opening bell rings.

When Wlad himself confirms these rumors, then I'll start believing them.

Not getting excited about this crap anymore. Waste of time thinking about it at this stage. Think about it: Booth and Bönte aren't even involved in the talks at this stage. This is probably (at this stage) purely hypothetical preliminary talks.

Yeah fair play to you mate, i do hope it all works out for you, what i will say is i have heard rumours it could be as early as march, which is 3 months away:happy

But tbh cant see it being that close, but yeah apparently negotiations are underway and they reckon they will have an announcment by early Jan.

i just pray its not the first 2 weeks in April as im away abroad anyway. If it is im ****ing flying home early for it.

Yeah im looking forward to it too mate, it will be a wicked fight with Haye winning the fight hopefully by KO.

I must admit though i do find the Klit bros boring fighters and i just feel that Haye will put alot of pressure on them

I am tired of hearing about this. Haye has already signed once and bitched out at the last minute. I actually want him to turn up this time if he signs the contract, unlike last time.
