I am putting a wager on Hopkins via ko/tko though

Pascal is slow and predictable don't let the Dawson fight fool you.
If Dawson had decent power Pascal would have lost via ko.

 

No problem, Hopkins was wrongly doubted for the pavlik fight and he proved all critics wrong which was great for him.
But I really think this is where the road ends for him, I think he's been great for boxing and in my opinion the most inspirational figure in the sport.
However judging his last fight and watching him train for pascal, it really seems there is something missing, I dont know quite what it is, maybe handspeed...or footspeed...or maybe reflexes. but hopkins just doesnt seem the same, maybe we'll find out on saturday!
Also he has the style to beat quite a few of the super middleweights, but Pascal is not one of them, his style is wrong for hopkins, he's really fast and strong and I think he'll beat hopkins punch for punch, which is going to be the key in this fight, hopkins wont really settle to well, and Pascal will take this by UD

Nice post Dracon, I have say, I never thought about this but it's possible! Anything it is with those two fighters, both love mind games in their own ways!

 

The bottom line is Pascal is weak, he lucked into a belt, BHOP immediately realized this and it seemed like this fight was made the next day. If Hopkins wasn't confident he would beat him, he wouldn't be fighting him.
