in what was, in my view, the domestic fight of the year. Every ounce of credit and respect goes to Simpson, Nelson and damn fine work from Powell tonight.

Simpson's finest hour, his finest performance so far. Lindsay is still in the picture but rustiness caught up tonight.

    I love boxing

After the shambles of Bayaar v Edwards, I'm glad we got such a good fight where the right man won.

Glad I didn't make the bookies today as I was going Simpson by KO Rds 10-12.

Great fight, felt Lindsay could have lost his way after what was a very effective start by Simpson but credit to Martin for getting back into it, delighted John now keeps the belt and hopefully he'll march on and give us more great fights!

Fantastic win for Simpson and such respect shown between the two. Great stuff.

Great fight, credit to Simpson that was a gritty, strong performance. The body work was excellent throughout

It just ended within the hour. Bayaar-Edwards began just under two and a half hours again (and ended just as quickly).

TBH I don't see where there's six rounds you could even stretch out Lindsay's way. My 117-111 for Simpson was pretty firm all the way (in fact, I could even see two of Lindsay's three rounds going the other way).
