For me it was cristian mijares vs vic darchinyan ... I had just showed up to my friends house and they were talking about vic like they heard he was the man .... I went inthere like "oh ya watching the fight?"and started talking about mijares like he was gonna outclass darchinyan ...I remember saying "I don't even know why they made this match up .. this **** is over before it even began" ... we all know what happened. By the end of the night I was the joke of the party. There were some girls there and they were shaking their heads ... I remember thinking " since when do bitches take boxing seriously? " lmao funny now but it bothered me for a couple days

I was in a state of shock when I saw Tommy Hearns destroy Roberto Duran, to see the 'Hands of Stone' being KO'd like that devastated me but the fight that I still can't accept the official decision on was when my idol, Marvelous Marvin Hagler was robbed against Ray Leonard.
I was lucky enough to meet Ray last year in Sydney & spent a few hours talking boxing with him, he is a legend but I had to let him know how I felt about that decision. He was cool about it & said that the only reason he knew he'd have a chance of stealing the fight from Hagler was because he felt nobody could ever be the same again after the war Hagler had with Mugabi?

Cotto Margarito has to be up there.

Tbh' i wasn't a fan of Cotto, i thought he was being overhyped, etc. But after that lass i've warmed to him a bit.

He was being groomed to be a superstar, he was meant to win that fight, then challenge Mayweather as the big superstar of Boxing. That fight took something out of Cotto he'll never get back, he'll never be the same fighter again, even though i wasn't a fan of him it wasn't nice to watch.

Hatton v Pacquiao also, simply because of the way it ended, and the downward spiral Hatton has went into. He was taking drug's and drinking too much well before the Pacquiao fight, but that KO made thing's worse.

Mad, same for me too. 2nd would be seeing Hatton get dismantled and KO'd by Mayweather.
