You can never judge B-Hop from his last fight. A lot of these opponents think he's old and vulnerable, what they don't realize is that Hops is still a hard dude. He catches them off guard in the last press conferences and the weigh in, and messes with their heads and confidence.

If they start doubting themselves even a little and it carries over to the ring, then Hopkins already is half way to winning the fight. Then they realize that Hopkins is very crafty and can take away your whole game plan, and confusion sets in.

Pascal is a good fighter but he's never seen the skills and intelligence of someone like Hopkins. This will be a very interesting fight because Pascal has good movement, but I now think that Hopkins will take this comfortably. If Froch can hit Pascal almost at will, then Hopkins can do it also, but without taking the kind of punches Froch did in return.

 

^^ I admit that is a great outlook on this fight and it could go that way, but I dont think it will against pascal, I think hopkins age will really show on saturday.

The press conference i believe wont mean much in terms of mind games, hopkins tries it with everyone and sometimes he ends up on the bad end of the stick. We shall see what happens in the weigh in, that will be more important and reveal much more, but come saturday I like pascal, think he's got this!
