George Foreman is easily one of the most overrated fighters in history. I have seen him ranked as the 3rd greatest Heavyweight of all time on a number of occasions. WTF??

He beat SO FEW good fighters in his 81 FIGHT career:

    Joe Frazier (only good win)

Ken Norton (overrated, never beat anyone good in their prime in his career. Wasn't in his prime against Foreman)

    Dwight Qawi = a fat light-heavyweight

Michael Moorer = an overrated 1-dimensional fighter

    Gerry Cooney = LOL

Ron Lyle = what did he do in his career?

I'm sorry but that resume does not make a Top 3 all-time Heavyweight. Top 10 yes, but not Top 3.

Mike Tyson did more in his career than Foreman. I know that is hard for some idiots take take, but it's true.

If you disagree with me, I hope the Nazi's come back to power and put you in their mass graves and ovens.

This Post I started was not intended to be a 'Knock' on Ali.

    It's just factual.
Every Title holder is entitled to an easy defense or two,
but I think Ali pushed the envelope.

I mean really, Brian London,,,,,deserving. He got his chance back in 1958 vs.
    a 190 lb. Floyd Patterson.
That would be like Larry Holmes in 1980 dragging back Chuck Wepner.

I said Norton is an ATG then I said he never beat anybody good.

This is because I am bias and manipulate facts to my advantage in an argument.

One, Jonas Cepulos the great Russian Amateur Heavyweight, who was
considered 'unbeatable', by every boxing writer in 1967/1968.

Cepulos had a sparring session with Jimmy Ellis, in Las Vegas, before a U.S. vs Russia Amateur Meet.
The session was stopped after One Round, in fear of Ellis getting badly hurt.

Erm....a certain Joe Frazier. Any discerning boxing fan will have Joe down as an all time great.

    Ring-Post,

Well I guess you could add more, but
    Floyd Patterson
    George Chuavlo
    Karl Mildenberger
    Ernie Terrell
    Zora Folley
Were all worthy challengers, and all put up good efforts.
Those (5) would be hard to add to the '4' The Easy Way.

    The second reign;
    Ron Lyle
    Joe Bugner
    Joe Frazier
    Ken Norton
    Jimmy Young
    Earnie Shavers
    Thats a very good bunch

Leon Spinks,,,well where do we put him?

Leon Spinks ? I suppose he joins Buster Douglas as one of those 'For one night only' fighters. Leon was quite ordinary really. The Ali of two or three years earlier would have stopped him at will.

Oh, you mean like the way Ali backed off from verbally assaulting and
    humiliating Joe Frazier in Manila.

    That way!

Or the way Ali, tortured an eye-injured Ernie Terrell and embarrassed him in a cruel way.

    That way!
