What exactly is the reason why he quit? He seems just fine and not really hurt when all of a sudden he just walked away and waved his hand. There might be an interview of him saying why he quit but I can't find it so I'm asking maybe you guys know the main reason. Thanks.

stomach cramps, not being able to stand fighting the clown. Things like that I guess.

Apparently the movie they are making about Duran's life will answer that question.

He looks like he was disappointed for some reason. What if he just really needed to go the bathroom? :D

According to the book "Hands of Stone", the stomach cramp story was just an excuse made up by a member of his corner.

I never believed the "he had to take a dump" story. I'm more inclined to believe that Duran was mentally out of it, frustrated, and just sort of snapped and quit. He wasn't in the best of shape, even Leonard will admit that.

Yeah I'm thinking of that as well. But being an elite fighter like him, you wouldn't expect him to just quit like that.

He didn't quit. He had something in his ear, and everyone misintrepreted it.

Leonard was hitting to the head, Duran only does body sparring.
