Berto tells mosley to step aside!

Mosley vs Pac makes no sense at all, but pac is deserving of an easy fight, I think Berto though he gets his ass beat against Manny he does put up a better fight IMO than does Mosley.

 

And what did Margarito or Pacquaio do to deserve a shot at the WBC Jr. Middleweight title? It's not like one of them took a challenge from any of the current title holders in that division.

Why should JMM be held to different standards?

 

Pac's last 3 fights were easy fights. Pac was so marked up because he only has decent defense. Cotto was probably the toughest out of the 3 and he only won a few rounds. Top Rank promotes it as being a tough fight but in reality, Manny hasn't been in a difficult match since JMM. #1, because he is that good and #2 because his last few opponents were made for his style. These comments are harsh, but fair. Everyone said Mosley was washed up after Mayweather dismantled him. Now to try and justfiy a fight with Pac is ridiculous. However Mosley does have a punchers chance and Pacquiao would not technically shut Mosley out like Mayweather did, I just see Pac pummeling Mosley into a stoppage.

A fight with Berto makes more sense right now even though he doesn't really deserve a shot either. Pac should step aside and let Mosley and Berto finish business.

 

Right now, Berto can't carry Mosley's jockstrap. Not even convinced he can beat Mosley right now. Berto shouldn't even be considered as an opponent of Pac until he beats a TOP 5 WW.... Dude's protected more then the President...

 

It's not holding JMM to a different standard. PAc is a WW, he's grown into a WW. JMM is at LW, and even came in a couple under the LW limit in his last fight.

What I, and other what to see is, can JMM even compete with the other WW's? How would Shane vs. JMM at WW go? JMM vs. Berto? JMM vs. Cintron? JMM likley loses to all those guys. Hell, he'd probably lose to most top JrWW's as well.

Fact of the matter is, Pac simply outgrew JMM. It happens.

Yes he did give Pac hell ON THAT WEIGHT and WITH PAC's SKILL LEVEL THEN.

But now? And at freaking WW?
JMM stands absolutely no chance.
Mosley-Pac will be miles and miles more competitive than a JMM-Pac WW match.

Andre Berto is much more dangerous than Mosley IMO. He is faster, takes more risk and that is what you have to do to beat Pac. Add on top of that the fact that he doesn't know how to lose. Berto is explosive and fast enough to give manny problems he hasn't seen in his whole career (works both ways for berto's problems too). Mosley's dumbfounded, arm shaking display against Floyd showed that the current Mosley is not capable of fighting guys faster than himself. It was something he never had to do in his prime so when he finally did, He was as gun shy as can be when the fight settled down. Team Pac knows this and reluctance to swing is what they count on to win fights.

 

Mosley is as shot as they come any one buys into him is dumber then rocks and knows nothing about boxing so wake up.

 

Berto is right these old fighters need to give the young ones their light, Shane will be a punching bag after 2 Pacman rds.

Berto vs Pacman is the better fight out the 2, at least Berto is a live fighter.

If he was so shot, he'd have lost badley to Mora. Shane is past his best, no argument there. But I don't jump the gun like the other fools and claim a guy is shot the moment he looks bad.

Personally, I would prefer owould be the best fight for both.

Mosley is a shot fighter.... his reflexes are gone and he can't even get out of way of punches. That's what I saw in him fighting Floyd, I only seen highlights of his last fight which ended in a draw and he looked shot. It looks like his reflexes are gone.

This is a terrible matchup and it's only going to hurt Manny's leverage in negotiations regarding a 50/50 split If he and Floyd ever get together again and try to negoiate.

Not too many people want to see this fight.
