iv read numerous times on esb that at the wildcard khans been dropped or hes been hurt to the point were they had to call off the spar so what do u guys make of all of this i mean some irish lad who goes by the nickname irish lightning claims to make khan his ***** every time there in sparring, ppl say some 4 fight novice put khan on shaky legs, many of these fighters hurting khan are not even world class so i scratch my head in the validity of these stories, maidana threw everything at khan maidana bangs harder then any of these euro level guys like dean byrne etc yet khan sucked it all up, It doesn't make sense in the slightest

I don't know but I think fighters being hurt in sparring probably isn't as uncommon as people like to think. Over 100's of rounds you are going to get hurt occasionally.

Probably somewhere inbetween. However wouldn't that the claims of 'Irish lightening' too seriously.

firstly what makes you think the likes of dean byrne are euro level
have you ever seen the chap fight??he was brought over by freddie for sparrin and kept on because he liked the look of him hes also sparred pacman a good few times
byrne never said he dropped khan himself the rumours doin the rounds were probably circulatin from the gym wars
khan is no iron clad rock solid chin type fighter all of a sudden because he didnt succumb to maidans best so its not ridiculas to think that he may of been hurt in sparrin
anyway who gives a bollix if he was it only matters in the ring when the cameras are rollin

It seems people had become obsessed with whether or not he had been dropped in sparring.
people craved any news that his chin was weak.
so what if he got caught out by inexperience v's Prescott?
surely it's part of his learning curve,,,to improve him as a fighter.
why would anyone be suprised if he had been dropped?,especially after seeing round ten last weekend.
