An Interesting question to me. He can't fight against bruisers but isn't to bad against slicksters. What do you guys think?
the slick will always cause froch problems in the ring.the sluggers are no big deal to him.froch is strong enough to slug and he can get on his toes a box well with those type of fighters.when froch faces slick fighters he is more agressive and when not he will box or mix it up.
no... I meant how does Jermain Taylor fair against ward & dirrell before getting destroyed by aa & Froch
He loses to both. Even before he got KO'd by them, he was having problems with faster, smaller fighters like Cory Spinks. Dirrell's style and speed would confuse Taylor, and Ward would just bully him around and beat him up.
taylor would have beaten ward. in 10 years time, those 2 will go down in boxing history as fraudulent american hype jobs. dirrell beats both these, thats if he stops being a fake, acting, running *****.
I think JT beats both, unless one of those guys can KO him, which I don't think they can...he beats both. There have been rumblings around Little Rock of him coming back early next year and fighting either Dirrell or Dawson, rumors are rumors and I'm not saying it's a fact but there are some that are "in the know" who say this. So I guess we may find out, and not have to speculate about it. I think Jermain could give either problems right now, regardless of Froch/AA, I guess we'll see.
I always thought Taylor would have beaten Ward and Dirrell, because JErmain has never lost to a defensive fighter. He had the fast hands and reflexes to catch them. Andre and Andre are lucky that Taylor left the Super Six.
