And we're supposed to believe Pac will win because you said so and therefore not want the fight, so we should just be content with Pac fighting comefoward guys with little defence, we should want to see him fight Mosley who recently suffered the worst loss of his career, who is visibly showing decline who will soon be 40yo, who just drew with Mora who is a C+ level fighter at best.

Or should we want to see him face Marquez who will have to take the fight at 147, who was shut-out by Mayweather, who didn't look good at the weight of 144 and hasn't fought again as high, who just had a gruelling fight with Katsidis and was dropped, the Marquez who seems to get dropped in every fight recently and who took lots of punches from slower fighters Diaz and Katsidis.

Or do you want him to face Cotto or Marg again which seems to be the plan, two guys that he completly destroyed already, Pac and his fans need to quit making excuses and actually fight someone young with momentum and is winning, someone who can match his speed, i favor Berto over Pac any-day, by KO Pac is just a very fast fighter who's good against other fighters with no movement, no defence or who's confidence is low from being KO'ed recently, fight another style PAc and show us you have the ability to adjust.

Yea a young overly-aggressive fighter suffers a KD early in his career, Pac wouldn't know anything about that... oh wait he knows about that very well and on multiple occassions, on a couple of occassions not even being able to get the **** up and he was knocked-out by sub-par fighters similar to Rivera.

I agree with you, but from a business stand point since they will make the same money, Mosley has the bigger name. Then again it could back fire as yrs down the road if Pac fought Berto and were to defeat him, then Berto goes on to do big things then it would look way better for Pac then having Mosley on his resume.

I'm so sick of hearing Berto in the mix forr the Pac sweepstakes. Has he a win over ANYONE ranked in the top 5 @ WW? Top 10? That's my biggest beef. Being hand fed gimme after gimme after gimme? Say what you want about Clottey or Margarito, they've put good showing in the past.

They know that berto is more dangerous. Berto wins by similar means as pac does and that's with speed and shots you don't see. Berto just doesn't use his legs like Pac does which puts him into grittier fights regardless of the opponent. That speed advantage being close to cancelled out makes it the most dangerous fight. Mosley while still fast has shown he isn't a blazer atleast anymore. Berto is close to being a blazer and with that, the Pac gameplan CANNOT BE THE SAME or he will open himself up to being caught by something big from someone, sharp and explosive with decent power himself. He is not going to fight berto like he's fought his last 5 significantly slower opponents.

Fighing similar speed is question mark with Pac (for me personally), and is something I want answered, because every other ATG has fought someone with similar speed, whether the opponent was great or not.

It's a bigger name of a fighter whom every competent fan knows is on the decline, will soon be 40yo and just recently lost to the man Pac is sharing the spot-light with, who is also seen losing by at least 95% of fans, Shane look shitty in a draw with Mora and fighting Shane will not help Pac's legacy one bit, it may even tarnish it wether he wins or loses.

Bob wants this fight not for Shanes name it's because Shane looks to be a wounded Zebra in the den of lions and is viewed as an easy win and Bob will be making money from Mosley as-well, as i said Arum doesn't give a **** about boxing, the fans or Pac, he's chasing that money.

Whether or not Berto is more dangerous is up in the air for debate. Sure, he looks like a world beater vs. C & D level comp. Who doesn't? I can admit Berto vs. Pac looks interesting, but Berto is no more a front runner then anyone else. He should be the fourth choice after Floyd, Shane, and JMM.

All fine points, I never really gave my opinion on who I think Pac should fight next, only on the fact that Berto ain't ready & he shouldn't be running his jib about Pac.

I think most fans are always gonna have SOMETHING to say, so if he does fight Berto next, that's fine by me. In my opinion, if Berto's fight had gone thru with Mosley, we wouldn't even be talking about Berto right now, cuz he would've gotten KTFO, and he'd be back on ESPN FNF trying to build his name back up. I'm all for putting Berto in with Pac so people will stop talking about him.

I just wish Berto would fight ANY of the Top 10 guys. ANY of them. If he wants to start at the top, so be it. I think Grandpa Mosley's got a better shot at taking out Pac tbh, but that's just my opinion.

:deal Funny thing is, guys PAc has beaten: Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, would probably beat Berto. And the current "shot" version of SHane is still a 50-50 fight w/ Berto.

I can asure you from dating back to the Mayorga fight, there's no way Mosley beats Pac or Berto, i mean people need to face the reality and the reality is that Shane's time has come and gone, let it go, hoping you land a big shot is not going to win many fights, from what i'm seen from Shane whom i am a fan of he can't pulled the trigger anymore the way he used to, to say he would beat Berto is just an excuse not to face him and i see Shane losing that battle hands down.

Need I remind you that's the same thing said before he fought Margarito. Shane has been trigger shy MANY times before Margarito. His problem is his lack of consistency.

To say Shane cannot beat Berto is just opinion...even today's version.

It's a styles thing but here are a few reasons.

Berto has had a belt since early 08.

Berto has not been DOMINATED yet.

A Berto/Pac Highlight trailer commercial sells the fight.

It's already assumed by 99.9% of the world population that Pac is gonna kill old man shane (rightfully so).

There is nobody else for him to fight besides the old guys from the early part of this era.

It is the 3rd waisted fight in a row that has done nothing. His clock is counting down and if he talks about 3 or 4 fights left, then I'm hoping it's against good comp instead of broken or old (significantly slower) fighters.

Question, aside from floyd, who do you want to see him face that has a chance of happening?

Cotto is a sitting ducked against fast fighters and uppercuts man Berto would starch Cotto the same Cotto who feels the heat and retreats because his confidence is gone, Berto is a hard puncher with fast hands who can sit and bang, the way Zab hit Cotto with uppercut after uppercut Berto would have a field day.

And Clottey man please Clottey looses every big fight he's in for lack of effort and offence Berto would just out-work him the same way Pac did no doubt in my mind.

Now Margarito, the poor slow, predictable Margarito, Berto will just beat him in spurts tying him up and flurrying on his way to a decision, similar to the way Berto beat Urango.

I don't see how you say Margarito is a wasted fight. When Pacquiao's done and retired, him dominating Margarito in such a fashion when Margo outweighed him on fight night by 17 pounds will be one of his signature victories.
