If the Klitschkos were exciting boxers do you think the HW wouldn't be so poor?

Do you think if they fought in a more exciting style the division would get more attention? Both have dominated the HW division but have a really boring fighting style. Having 2 fighters dominate the division in exciting fashion would at least improve the division a bit, despite lacking the level of competition. What do you think?

The division is MUCH better than the late 80's where Tyson beat pillow fighters.

I don't how on Earth could anyone call Vitali Klitschko boring. The guy goes in there with bad intentions and opens up with hard power shots from the 1st bell, hands down, his face in yours and beats the living **** out of you. He lost some power lately, but the way he approaches fights was always exciting for a boxer. Oh he doesn't get hit. Too bad. But that's what the Klitschkos are, boxers, and Wlad wasn't always this boring. Vitali still isn't.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...if the fights happen and contenders start fighting each other regularly instead of feasting on horrible fighters and biding their time until the Klitschkos fade, things would be alot better at heavyweight. It's not the Klitschko's fault top 15 heavyweights rarely prove themselves against each other, and until that happens, it won't matter how exciting they are in their own fights. The division will still get perceived as being worse than it actually is.

People who claim that the Klitchkos are boring are either delusional haters (Haye fans etc) or have read the **** that the haters post and have believed it.

Either way, it just screams "I'm posting but I shouldn't, because I can't think for myself"

    Vitali just isn't boring.

If they were American, yes this would be a good decade (like the 80's) if they were American AND exciting (ala Tyson) this decade would be hyped up as the 90's or the 70's. We would be in a golden age, but as it stands most Americans are bitter and whine about how Klitschko and Wlad and Vitali are funny sounding names, and they don't bad mouth people, and considering they are what boxing is all about (hit and don't get hit) then they are boring. So, with all that said Americans can't hype them up, thus being the worst decade of Heavyweight boxing.

The question shouldn't be whether or not the Klitschkos are boring and does the HW division being so poor hang on that.

The question should be, would the HW division be so poor if 95% of the HW's took their profession seriously, trained hard, kept in shape year round instead of hanging out at fast food joints and eating competitions, and oh yeah.....fought the best competition out there and earned their status instead of relying on running their mouths for a payday?

The about the HWD is that say the top 20 somewhat contender arent fighitng eachother at all. Boystov needs to fight chagaev or ademek etc. I think he is the future star

solis is a power house fat or not hes dangerous
Pov needs to step up to the place etc.
The fact is holyfield is fight twice in a 3 months time and that is more activate then any HW out there

The "FALL" of the HW division has nothing to do w/The Klitschko's.. But w/everyone else.
    (They can't cut it)

That sosnowski fight for example was extremely boring, on the other hand the fight vs briggs vitali was exciting.

You can't blame the lackluster heavyweight division on two fighters. If anything without them the heavyweight division would have been forgotten by now.
