Wrong! It's about Promoter... Pacquiao is a puppet..

Pacquiao: " I'm just a fighter.. i fight whoever my promoter put infront of me."
Pacquiao: "It's nothing personal, It's business."
Pacquiao: "It's business to win that fight and that i will do"

Even Mayweather said that Bob Arum doesn't want to make business with him.. i forgot that link for that interview...

Berto is already 27. It's now or never for him.

PAC doesn't get hit that much....opponents land under the average and his connect percentage is over the average. With that said....he does get hit sometimes b/c of his style...he's just an active fighter and when you are a pressure fighter there are more opportunities that are available for opponents to capitolize on. But his "D" is under rated.

Berto on the other hand is fast and powerful. He gets hit too much in his fights but due to his reflexes, speed and power he overcomes with the crop of oppoents he's been in ther with thus far. With Manny.....he'd get hit a lot more with more devastating effects. PAC would KO Berto.

Dude please. Berto is not flat footed like the last 5 opponents Manny has faced. Manny will land combos only if Berto stays in his range. Berto could smother him and in fight with his has cause Manny is a horrible in fighter. Plus Berto throws a mean uppercut that he will land on Manny. What would you rather them fight Mosley who Roach himself said was shot or Marquez? Berto is the best option if not Mayweather.

Berto is a much better fight than Mosley. Berto presents things that Pac has nevr dealt with before a young hungry undefeated fighter a guy with fast hands and a guy who won't just stand in front of him to be hit. Anyone who discredits Berto as a possible opponent for Pac doesn't want to see the fight because they know Berto will test Pac in ways others haven't and it makes them nervous.

LOL...get real homie. Berto isn't flat footed but his footwork ain't that great. It's not on Floyd or PAC's level that's for damn sure. Berto is a good option for PAC given he's young, black, american with a belt. The last 3 or 4 opponents PAC dominated would beat the **** out of Young Berto that's for sure....from Marg to Cotto and even Josh.

Berto won't control the pace or distance in this fight which means the cards are stacked against him. Calling Manny a "HORRIBLE" fighter only proves you have a lot to learn about the sweet sciecne.

You're right...Berto has a very nice Uppercut. But you think Berto is gonna beat PAC with one punch you are only fooling yourself.

I'm actually in agreement with you that PAC's BEST option is Berto. Financially it doesn't makes as much sense for Arum or PAC but at the end of the day they ain't hurtin too much for money. So fighting Andre would be the best option b/c again....he's a young champion, who is black and american with an undefeated record. If I had the choice I'd pit PAC with Andre, let that play out and then move on to the bigger money fights.

Pac has great foot speed but his foot work needs to get better. He doesn't have great foot work in my opinion. I personally think that Manny fighting all these flat footed brawlers is going to come back to hunt him when he faces someone who can actually box and move. I say Berto hurts him early and wins a decision.

    Clottey would get outworked.

    Cotto is a good fight.

Margo without plaster looks like manass. Berto would beat him up like Shane and Pac did.

Its well documented that pac gets beat up in sparring against tyhe likes of khan who is fast but far from a perfect boxer, given the fact that he has been fighting slow fighters ever since he went above 130 can support this.

Pac would still win but he has never faced a berto and would be interesting to see how he adapts etc.

I would have no problem with him fighting mosley either except that mosley looks past it and it wudnt prove anything if berto won people wud just say he beat an old fighter who used to be great! So I would want him in with pac now and we find out how good this kid really is! Either way no more b level fights for berto......bring on the top class guys
