It's harsh on Zbik to be honest. Boxing isn't a fair sport, many boxers don't enjoy the fruits of their labour. But, **** it, I'm a big Lee fan and I'm delighted to see him get a shot at the big time. I'd ****ing love for him to beat Martinez just to see all the bitter Brtis on here sickened.

Thats a bit of a generalisation about us Brits.
Got nothing against any Irish fighters, just the unrealistic expectations of their fans. I hope Lee wins as he seems a quality bloke but if he does it will be a massive, massive upset. He's so stiff in his stance that he makes Mario Veit lookn like Jose Napolese. I've never thought he was even remotely worldclass.
The best bet for a worldclass fighter that Ireland has is Carl Frampton. Now he looks quality!

 

I said the bitter Brits. I wasn't saying every Brit on here is bitter. You're kidding yourself if you think a few people on here wouldn't be sickened if Lee pulled off the upset after everything they've said about him.

And I agree about Frampton but he has a long way to go yet.

Well its my belief that he dosen't have any. I simply cant envision him putting up much of a fight. Theoretically he can win because he's got two hands with gloves on but thats all I can give him. In my book it will go down as a massive upset if he wins.
I'm not saying this to wind up the Irish posters here. I just don't think he's world class.

That's exactly why Lee won't win. Honestly, there's Irish guys on here who think that the British posters are intentionally trying to wind them up but if you go over to the general there's Americans saying the exact same.

 

Or a 6000000 to 1 freak occurence.

 

If Lee some how beats Martinez it would instantly make him world class as Martinez is number 1 in the division without a doubt.

Lee is either good enough or he isnt.....

 

I don't see what you're getting at here. Of course if he wins he's world class but what everyone is saying is that they don't think he will win precisely for the reason that they don't think he's world class.
