I think Solis is too green and overrated. BTW, Golota fought one handed for one round and Austin couldn't do anthing.

Not saying that Solis shouldn't be a clear favorite but 18:1 doesn't even make sense. Austin has actually fought the better 'pro' opposition and will be solis' toughest pro test. Solis also has weight issues and is giving up about 6 plus inches in height and austin can bang a bit. So how in the world can the odds be 18:1 unless there is some type of 'wiseguy' money coming in on solis? 10:1 or less would seem justifiable but 18:1, don't get it unless this is a foregone conclusion

Thats Mayorga for you, always with the antics. Anyone in the Miami area going to this fight?

    Austin is 40? Damn.

If Solis can't get Austin at this age I'd be shocked.

Austin wasn't bad but that was like 4 or 5 years ago.

    :rofl

    Also:

    1. People's confidence in Solis' abilities lies mainly on his amateur career when he was fit and hungry and on his short HW career where he's obese and managing to beat down on bums. There's not enough evidence so far to suggest that Solis can beat any top contender and Austin is certianly not one of them.

    2. Weight matters tremendously and can totally ruin a fighter's career (ask Chris Arreola), even a skilled fighter's career (ask James Toney). I don't care how skillful you are, you will always do better when you are fit and ready to fight, instead of having 30lbs + extra weight around your waist. So forgive me if I'm sceptical about Solis' HW prospects.

    3. What time does this fight start?

Well, first off, Solis is almost 6'2 and that only makes Austin 4 inches taller. Their reach is almost the same and I believe that this 18-1 prediction is based on Solis' huge amateur accomplishments, and Austin being almost 40 years old, so it's actually accurate. :good

Austin looks quite a bit taller...I think Solis is around 6 feet tall.
Look at Solis and Austin, and then Austin and Wlad.

Look at the eye levels of Austin and Wladimir. Looking at the first pic of Austin and Solis, if Wlad replaced Austin
his eye level would probably be right around the lighter colored band in Austin's cap. With Wlad listed at 6.6 1/2....I don't
see how Solis could be much more than 6 even.

But what happens is that Solis is kind of bended in that pic, in another picture that came out Austin is not that much taller. Solis is 6'1 1/2 and that's accurate. :good
