Jimmy Young vs Vitaly Klitschko, Young would have Won!!

    I looked at the fight between Chris Byrd vs V. Klit several times and was amazed at how competitive this fight was. I had it 6-3 for V. Klit,after 9 rounds. V. Klit was undefeated and koed everybody up until that point. Byrd, made the fight competive and made V. Klit quit. I looked at several Jimmy Young fights. I watched Young fight Ali, Shavers, Foreman, Norton and Lyle, whom all at that point in their careers were better than Klit or even par with him and how he gave those fighters fits and argubably won all of those fights ( I had Ali winning 8-7,but had Young winning the rest). Young, would have boxed the ears of V. Klit and made him miss all night and then proceed to counter him. Young, is 2x the fighter Chris Byrd is and that saying alot because I believe Bryd was a good fighter with good skills and got the max out of his abilities. In saying all this Young would win a competitive but convincing 12 or 15 round UD!

    I agree with you 100%. Jimmy Young would easily be the best fighter Vitali had ever fought outside of Lennox Lewis. With sharp, crisp, counterpunching combinations I see young taking a unanimous decision. Vitali is too robotic and inferior to keep up with a slickster like Young. No doubt about it. And lets face it, technically Young was a far better fighter, I give punching power and definitely size and strength to Vitali but you're going to need moer then that to beat Jimmy Young. No doubt. Young would have decisioned Vitali in spectacular fashion.

    By the way I had him a couple points up beating Norton and at least drawing with Ali. People who just give Ali rounds for no reason need to take a closer look at Young's gameplan. I have to say that was the worst Young fight I ever saw. But it at least shows his great defense and counterpunching.

    Well lets see *******. Young Foreman was a great fight. Dokes Young was a great fight. Young Bailey was a great fight. Young Lyle was a great fight. Young Norton was a great fight. Young Dunn was a great fight. Young Garcia was a great fight.

    There goes your credibility you Young-Hater.

    I'm a huge fan of Jimmy Young, but Vitali Klitschko would crush him.
    I will always love Young for punishing the Mummy Foreman however, that is something that I don't forget, that it something that I'll never ever forget.

    Because Vitali is such a better fighter then Foreman... Right :patsch even the version that fought Young is better then Vitali. No doubt about it. I see vitali getting exposed and getting nailed and countered.

    Fine. I may have overstated them then. But the facts are that the only boring fight I have seen of Young is the Ali fight. That's it. So don't give me this bull**** that it's not hard to find a boring fight of his. :nono

    Young UD even with the size disparity. Young is too good,slick for Vitali especially in his prime. For all it's worth, Vitali crushes a past prime Young but prime for prime I'm taking Young. Above me I see a FOTY candidate in tommygun711 & Boxed Ears.

    If a 70's version Of Foreman couldn't Ko Young I definitely don't see V Klit doing it. Also, Young took Earnie Shavers to a 10 round draw Shavers

    Foreman was as stiff and robotic as they come, just came out winging telegraphed haymakers, I agree with you that Young would be exposed though.
