Berto brings the same element as Pac and can hurt Pac the same way that Pac hurts his opponents (UNSEEN SHOTS) and I doubt there is a big difference punching power either. Manny is just more relentless. I think this fight would be the most entertaining out of all the possible fights while it lasted.

As far as an outcome, Manny should be able to outwork berto late where berto has shown he can be hurt to the body. Berto Makes fights gritty by becoming flat footed and settling in the pocket, due to his stanima at times IMO.

Still there are alot of unpredictable things when you mix these guys up stylistically. Both have never dealt with anything close to eachothers speed before.

Because Pac is not hard to find, this does give Berto a good chance of beating him. Of course most Pac fans won't admit such a thing, because they believe Pac is invincible. But keep in mind that a much slower Margarito was able to back Pac down and hurt him. So imagine what a faster, younger more powerful Berto could do if he can land a good amount of bombs on Pac jaw. By no means am I saying that Berto is a better boxer, but that didn't stop Marg from getting his shots off, so it shouldn't stop Berto either.

They don't have a problem losing or looking bad to an ATG, but not to Berto. Manny is expected to slaughter him and I doubt he does it as easily as people think

I just wanna hear all the lame ass excuses after berto get's stopped. He's young, he's black ( I still don't know what color clotty is supposed to be ), he's undefeated, he's never fought floyd. That puts a stop to four of the ******ed ass statements that clog this site every day. Then we'll all get to hear some "fresh" excuses for a change.

Seriously though, berto, then bradley, then mayweather if he ever decides to step up. I would LOVE to see this fight. I hope he talks enough **** to get pacs attention. Mosley doesn't deserve this fight, and don't even bring up jmm, I wanna see a match that lasts over 2 rounds.

Berto's punches are too wide...I doubt he comes close to even being competitive against Pacquiao.

Like I said in the other thread, there is a reason why Mayweather and Pacquiao are considered leagues above the rest...it's because they are.

Why are you already looking forward to excuses? Only one person said that Berto beats Pac and that is the TS. Everyone else is elaborating on the things that stylistically make this a better match up than Mosley, who was gun shy his first time facing speed faster than his own. We all know the outcome of the Mosley vs Pac fight and it won't be competitive. Berto on the other hand will make it gritty before he goes out and won't just sit there shaking his arms. There are just some things that Pac will have to do different when not facing a slower fighter. No way he attacks berto like a wild man without paying for it.

Pac vs Mosley is gonna look like Floyd vs Mosley (3rd round on) from the start of the fight. When Floyd got aggressive then Mosley had nothing but arm shaking fear. That will be the case from the start and end in a SAD, meaningless KO of a Shane.

I don't know where you got the too wide mess. Berto punches accordingly to what angle he's trying to throw. Everyone throws wide and short punches. It just depends on where your opponent wants to hold his glove at. Berto is way more of a compact puncher than a wide puncher.

I'm sure a lot of people would be surprised at just how mortal Pac would look against someone with as much speed, power, hunger, etc., as someone like Berto.

Arum wouldn't be. I see pac stopping him late but wouldn't be shocked by any outcome because having two guys who win by the same means is very unpredictable when both are prime.
