After watching Khan fight Maidana i have come to the following conclusions about Khan:

    Plus:
    Good speed
    Good Heart

    Minus:
    Terrible defense
    Poor stamina
    Suspect chin
    Poor boxing IQ
    Noodle legs
    Easy to hit
    Pitty pat punches
    Doesn't have an inside game
    Very overrated

    Thoughts guys?

Khan is still young and learning but he doesn't possess the trait of that of a true champion. He doesn't have that killer instinct where he can stand there in make it a fight if he have too. Alot of great fighter box but if worst come to worst they will stand there and defend their ground....not Khan. It seems like he's to afraid to get hit.

The problem is that people are comparing Khan to people who have already achieved greatness with their foot out the door (retirement).

How does he stack up to his generation and current crop of newbies?

He should develop his own style instead of trying to emulate emmanuel. Amir's greatest punch is the jab, he has a terrible chin and average power. Their builds are very different, Amir is a wide tall guy, and emmanuel is a short stocky fighter. Why try to use emmanuel's style?

But does he have a terrible chin these days? He may have gained the miguel Cotto effect where moving up in weight makes the chin respectable.

I was Khans biggest critic but he made me change my mind last week.

Iv no doubt that he will be beaten again. But he is a good fighter and its time to give him a break

What I'm saying is that Amir does not have the best chin. I don't think he should try to copy the style of a guy who developed his style and habits to "entertain", blocking punches with the face, people
