Khan will duck him just like Pacquaio and Magic Hatton is.
Brook is the most avoided fighter on the planet....

interesting. i can only see it as a coming home fight for khan. completely different levels and at this stage a complete farce of a fight. khan should be and seems to be looking at unifying then moving up. that is the right move.

Why would Khan want to fight an unknown Frank Warren fighter from Sheffield? Who also happens to be a Welterweight (weight above Khan) and a WBO interim\vacant championship fighter.

:deal Exactly. It wont and shouldnt happen until Brook has done something on the world scene and after Khan has decided to be a welterweight. So Frank is just talking **** knowing full well it wont be entertained.

It could see it happening tho as Khans first 147 fight. IF Kell Brook has won the WBO belt in a years time. It would then start to make sense. An all british fight for the welterweight title.

Khan doesn't need to take it.

Brook needs Khan, not the other way round.

As if Khan is going to be interested in stepping up in weight to take on an unbeaten, unknown fighter who doesn't even hold a world title?? I wonder when Brook will get tired of knocking journeymen over?

Makes even less sense for Khan than the Prescott rematch.

frank has done this to give brook a bit off publicity and get people talking about him. warren knows the fight will not happen, but its a win-win situation for brook, he will now always be asked about khan and has the answer that he is ducking him.

down the line when khan has finished his business at 140 he will move to 147, if brook develops as he should then there will be no problem in making the fight in the future. the next move for brook would be to get a fight against a good name opponent, maybe malignaggi should be next for him, then mike jones for the WBO title.

the schedule could work out like this.

    April -
    Khan vs Peterson/Judah
    Brook vs Malignaggi

    October -
    Khan vs Bradley/Alexander
    Brook vs Mike Jones

    February 2011 -
    Khan vs Brook

In terms of likelihood of happening this is right up there with Warren "offering" Groves a DeGale fight.
