Dude, Zuniga wasnt Weight Drained or anything he just is NOT any Good. Zuniga was healthy as he could be at super middle.

He was just few years ago a ****ing LIGHT MIDDLEWEIGHT for Christ Sake.

Cloud could well become Americas next big hype job.
The hype that is starting to come out about Cloud is getting out of hand already.
He beats Gonzalez who had 5 or so losses
He beats Woods who hadnt long been beaten by Tarver
Then beats double figure losses Johnson who losses almost every time he steps up
Now he has beaten former LMW and SMW title challenger Zuniga who had lost to Santos, Inkin, Bute and Pavlik and the hype is building

I have a feeling that Clouds name will be added to the list of American hype jobs when he steps up. No wonder he backed out of fighting Erdei.

    Tarver
    Pavlik
    Dirrell
    Lacy
    Jacobs
    Williams
    Green
    Taylor
    Dawson

Very possibly Cloud to add to that list

Ideally Cloud should have stopped Zuniga. Zuniga belongs at a lower weight, has been stopped a few times in the past, and Cloud is seen as a puncher, so yeah, Cloud should have been able to knock Zuniga out. But at the end of the day Cloud did win handily and dropped him a couple times so its not like he went life and death with Zuniga. It would have been nice for Cloud to get the ko but I wouldn't put too much into it not happening.

Wow it seems you are the first one to speak on the fight in this manner. I didn't even know about the KDs. I thought he just looked bad and got a boring decision. Hopefully someone post the fight on youtube so I can check it out.

Bute hurt Zuniga real bad with a uppercut to the body for the TKO4 just 2-3 yrs past Zuniga's prime, where as Cloud took lots of shots from a sloppier, 2-3 divisions above his ideal weight, 5-6 yrs past his prime Zuniga for a sloppy UD.

What's the point of contention here?!??

How is Williams a hypejob? He got beat by a very good fighter, there is no shame in losing to Martinez, Sergio is a top P4P fighter. Remember, Williams has beaten Martinez, has beaten Kermit Cintron, has beaten Margarito when he was easily the most avoided fighter in the Welterweight division, and he has also beaten undefeated Walter Matthyse. That is a good resume to me. Also, nobody rated Williams in the top 10 before the Martinez loss, so nobody overhyped or overrated him. He was the consensus winner in many H2H matchups, becuase of his style and size. Nothing wrong with that.

Dawson and Lacy were hypjobs, that needs little explanation. Lacy was the next Tyson, and Chad was P4P number 3. They deserve their hypejob status, but Williams doesn't. He is a quality fighter, who was not rated P4P, and he lost to a good fighter. Not a hypejob at all.

I haven't seen the fight but from what I've read it seems Cloud just put in a lackluster performance but still won handily. He should have stopped Zuniga, but didn't, I wouldn't put too much more into it. Now, if this becomes a habit where Cloud keeps fighting guys he should be ko'ing but doesn't then there is something to be said. But for now I write it up as simply a lesser day at the office for Cloud.

Williams lost Quintana, got the win against Martinez first time by being given the benefit of a KD with a punch to the back of the head.
Against Cintron many thought he was losing, one judge had him losing all the rounds.
Martinez KOd Williams in 2 rounds and hes not a puncher.
Please what was Matthyses 3 best wins before Williams.
Margarito was a fair win but lets remember how Margarito had lost to Santos and how easily the much smaller Pacquiao beat him.

Hype job. Ring P4P for what?

I thought a hypejob was a fighter who had been higly rated by fans and the media, yet lost to a fighter of seemingly lower ability. Right? Like Dawson, he was rated P4P number 3, was seen as the best in the Light Heavy division, despite only having wins over a weight drained Adamek and a bunch of old men. When he lost to Pascal, who many believed was the lesser skilled and able fighter, that allusion was smashed, and Dawson became a hypejob. Jeff Lacy was purported to be the next Tyson, was rated as the best fighter in the Super-middleweight division and was touted as a future P4P superstar. Then he was badly taken to school by Calzaghe, thus proving he was not the fighter he was made out to be, and he became a hypejob.

Paul Williams was a moderately rated fighter, who lost to a very skilled opponent. Nobody rated Williams in the P4P top 10, nobody called him the next Tommy Hearns (atleast not seriously), and nobody believed he was head and shoulders above his division. He lost to Sergio Martinez, a fighter most people concluded was better than him, and a fighter rated higher than him. How does that make him a hypejob?
