Cool, I thought the latest word on this would be that it wasn't happening, but cool.

I have to say after seeing a little of both of them that it is rigondeux's fight to lose, i can see casey getting countered to death and beaten to the punch. Caseys only hope will be smothering him and piling on the pressure but i feel rigondeux will be too savy and will cope with this...... but who knows!? Im looking forward to the fight.

Rigondaeux is ranked 16th in the world so he really isnt one of the very best YET.
I would pick Poonsawat to run him over at this stage....

But yea great opportunity to fight for a INTERIM title...

who ranks him 16th?? thats low. he is defiantly top 10. this is a great fight just shouldnt be called a world title.

would love to see casey win and get a big pay day in Japan.

Definitely top 10? The Ricardo Cordoba fight left me with more questions than answers about Rigiondaeuxs potential as one of the very best in the division.

He has to prove himself like a lot of boxers....

But yes there is a chance for casey to make some money here for sure which is great.

My only gripe is with the media trying to fool the boxing public that this is a World title fight......
