    UPDATE:

The Steward comment source is over at the scene.

    ----------------------------

I think I'm gonna turn this thread into, a "Mayorga's final chapter" type thread...

But yea, just read an article at the scene saying Mayorga vs Cotto a possiblity

    Thoughts on this?

Maybe not, but at least he got the ko.

He's one of the few bad guys in boxing I like to root for :smoke

Yeah, he ultimately chopped Walker down, but...it was a draw through 8 on my card.

He goofed off way too much. Also, his attempts to get cute and box were cringe-worthy.

Mayorga should leave well enough alone...in combat sports, period.

I think we all expected that.

For the record I don't think Ricardo is gonna be a legit world champ again, I just enjoy his ridiculousness, and would like to see him in another decent payday of a fight.

Yea I didn't expect him to look good tonight, I dont think anyone did.

But I figure he will end up getting one more high profile fight, and giving another up and comer hell for 2 rounds or so then fade and probably lose by tko one more time before he's done.

Yea he is deff back for money, and money only imo.

If he is as ridiculous with his money, as he is to his opponents Ricardo is a broke man.
