Both Bradley and Alexander are light yrs faster than Maidana, if anything his poor defense will be exposed by fighters who are nearly as fast as he is, thus allowing them to catch Kahn more often, neither fighter is much of a puncher though.

A heart doesnt stop you getting knocked out though, but it is preety decent.

He worried when he looked like he didnt want to be in there on a few occassions, that is not a good sign.

Who do you think is khans toughest fight, since he will do good against boxers?

Maidana is not as slow as people plus even slower fighter can land with good timing. Paulie was fast/slick but could not land much on Khan.

In a boxing chess match Khan is ace, you will what I mean when he fights Bradley or Alexander.

Roach knows that Khan has the speed but he also know that Khan doesn't have what it take to be the best. Why.....because Roach knows that he can't tell Khan,'I want you to back him up, don't let him back you up'.

When comes to a boxing chess match that's when Khan will show his real class, his speed will cancel the other fighters skill and timing.

Bradley at 140 would be a real boxing test for Khan, but I see Khan beating smaller 5'6 Bradley from range.

But is it really due to Khan not having the right mentality to stand his ground or lacking the killer instinct? Or is it because his defense up-close is terrible and he was getting hit repeatedly with uppercuts when he was on the ropes?

Bradley is very fast himself, how tall is khan really because some have him listed as 5'11 5'10 etc.

To me he looks 5'8.5 tops.

Bradley has beaten fighters much taller than himself and many different styles.

He has not got the discipline to commit to orders imo.

His killer instinct is ok but its only when the opponent is very clearly hurt, he never pushes for it.

He shouldnt have a problem fightng at long range throughout the whole fight.

He can't because his chin is shaky and they can't take a risk of him getting hit. All he can do is try to stay on the outside, box, and hope that he gets a KO or beat them on points. If you have it in you and Roach knows it, he will tell you to back the other guy up and not let him back you up.

No not in person, have been to see him fight and once at a public workout.

My cousin in Vancouver hung out with Khan when was stuck there for 2 weeks before the Paulie fight, he also watched Floyd vs Shane with Khan and Roach at a boxing gym.

Rubbish. If anything, one of the biggest problems of his career has been that he exchanges too much and doesn't box and move enough. He's not a good inside fighter, but he has a very 'macho' mentality and loves to fight, despite his chin.

I agree with the thread title... Khan was at his best when he dismantled Paulie and Koletnik in a boxing match.

But put him in with someone that can pressure him constantly throughout and he starts to make a lot of mistakes that he shouldn't... it's something he's gonna have to work on but like they say 'styles make fights'.

Still though I have no doubt that over time his footwork and defense will improve tenfold... and he should have a basic (but solid) inside game with more experience. The great thing about Khan is that he's constantly trying to improve himself, and I'm pretty confident that he will under Roach and company.

All in all I'm very excited about his future, and I see big things for him if he continues training hard and ironing out his flaws.

Malignaggi did catch him, Amir's face looked damaged at the end, even though he won.
