Hopkins has a made a career out of ducking Euro-level talent. He feasts on opponents like Joppy, Jones, Johnson, and Jermain. But to give you specific examples, consider the following:

Dariusz Michalczewski/Roy Jones - Jones avoids this Euro-level challenge to fight opponents like Grant, Griffin, and Gonzalez
Adrian Diacanu/Chad Dawson - Diacanu was mandatroy, Dawson vacated belt to fight faded journeyman Antonio Tarver
Paul Williams/Sergiy Dzinziruk - Williams was WBO interim titleholder, vacated belt to face domestic-level professional Winky Wright
Viacheslav Senchenko/Shane Mosley (Senchenko was WBA Mandatory while Mosley held belt, Mosley opted to face low-grade American gatekeepers Mayorga, Margarito, and Mora)
Andre Ward/Dmitri Sartison, Sartison is WBA champion, and Ward refuses to give this Euro-level superstar a shot at the belt out of fear.
Andre Berto/Selcuk Aydin - Berto refuses to face WBC mandatory and Euro-level professional Selcuk Aydin.

    This list goes on really..

    Seriously,

all hype aside, why are most European fighters better than most American ones in your opinion ?
