I watched the fight on YouTube for the first time, I did not see the fight live, and I actually thought it was not as close as people on here were saying. Many had it a draw or even Varon winning but I think Macklin did enough to win it close but clear and I really don't see how it could be scored for Varon.

It was a stinking performance though against a guy Zbik spattered. He gassed, he wasn't punching with authority, which let Varon walk him down and work him over on the inside.

 

I remember Warren's Skelton-Haye jibe... so hypocritical after his comments on Haye-Harrison especially when he has promoted Audley! He was having a pop at Haye for moving up to heavy and facing Barrett, after he smashed ol' Frank's Enzo Mac!

Just bitter that he never signed with him!

 

Macklin is stunning some **** bags on here who never boxed and all that comes out of there mouths pure slagging

 

I ain't gonna lie i was half scoring the rounds to Varon cos i dislike Macklin . Wasn't in a objective mood for that fight.
He's lucky Varon is not at top of his game no more (not saying he was a great fighter) but he would of lost that against a Varon on the otherside of the hill. Just couldn't press the issue enough to make it pay.

 

Anyone that scored the fight to Varon needs their head checking.

Maybe its Macklin's affinity to the Emerald Isle that sticks in your throat!
