I dont know how anyone can make a case for a Huck win, a close win for Leb, or a slightly wide one, but no way a big swing towards Huck.

Some of the rounds Huck got was because he was the champion and also because the crowd cheered every time he attempted (not landed) something.

    117-111 Denis Lebedev.

A draw was the worst scenario that might happen. you gotta beat the champs clearly, Lebedev beat him but he could've done far more. Although Huck been very defensive and from what I think is that Lebedev was trying to put more pressure but got pissed off every time Huck been stepping back and hugging.

I might be wrong about this, but I have a strong feeling that this fight will only be called a "robbery" in the forums, and not by most serious boxing journalists and/or publications.
    We'll see.

German TV promoting team Sauerland called his win a fraud particularly. I live in Berlin atm and I was watching it on TV, German commentators were for Lebedev to be ahead..

Ard.de <- TV promoting team Sauerland says he retained world champ after scandal scorecards.

Will Lebedev be included in the Super 6. ****ing shame if he isn't. All the talk about it so far has included his name....

that's an interesting observation, it seems to me most journalists tend to be far more conservative in second-guessing judges. Perhaps the corruption of the sport runs that deep.

At any rate, this one isn't "contraversial" -- virtually everyone on the forums are saying Lebedev won. And they are not all Ukranians or gamblers.

Technically it wasn't a 'German robbery' but a 'robbery in Germany' as there was no German judge scoring. I'm not starting a debate, **** these judges, but at least in most countries incl. Germany you get international judges all the time. However in the US for example most fights are scored by US judges, as they all have to be licenced in the given state and locals outnumber internationals. You don't see 3 Japanese scoring a world title fight in Japan or 3 Germans in Germany. Not that international judges made a difference, but technically it was a robbery in Germany.

Technically it was a robbery in Germany, by Germans (Saurland?? unless they have changed nationaliy)

Thankfully there are some German boxing fans and media that were not fooled by it.

Yep, I hope there's gonna be pressure on Sauerland to make the rematch or at least make Lebedev-Cunningham (who's with Sauerland now), that would be great.

As long as Huck didn't get stopped he was going to win.
